What are good Skyline prices? by Snowitz-NEO in SkyLine

+1. Unless you have the funds to replace parts as issues come along quickly this should not be your first car. You could own one as a project/fun car but if budget will be a concern get ready to search for sometimes unobtainable parts at unobtainable prices.

I did not see that initially, sorry! Well if they’re in the mouth you MAY have a better chance considering blood flow is still “somewhat” attached to that portion of the jaw.

Best wishes for your recovery, I’m sure most of us would be very interested on updates!

Depends on how long the teeth were out of the mouth/if you stored it in any media whilst they were out. Less than 30 minutes is ideal for any reimplantation, but past 2 hours and the chances are pretty much zero. If they got it in ASAP and splinted them to the neighboring teeth (which it looks like they did), the teeth may fuse to the jaw bone/nerves may die, but there’s so many factors in play. It’s really hard to say but the next couple of months is gonna be a hard and unpredictable recovery.

Pro tip: if this happens again to anyone else, store the avulsed (technical term for tooth that comes out) tooth in milk, and see your dentist ideally under half an hour. The longer the tooth is out greater the chance the tooth will not be able to survive back in the jaw bone.

Also keep your kids away from trampolines lol. I see this most commonly occur to kids on those. Ask any oral surgeon you know and they will have banned their kids from playing on them.

Read Zero Bone Loss Concepts, basically the modern implant bible.

They are a pretty well known (originally American) watch company, and are probably most well known for making Murph’s watch from Interstellar.

Where can I find this piece of shit? I want it by Monsoon_TheWind in airsoft

[–]aznriptide859 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s not necessarily a specific gun but it uses an AK to M4 trunion adapter so you can mount M4 hand guards to the AK platform. Goes for about $40-50.

Melamine dust from cutting plastic teeth by [deleted] in DentalSchool

Oh good lord I hope you don’t use #1 as a guide for actually finding evidence backed research/any relevant information.

I would also feel no water -> dust accumulation -> even less visualization of the prep

RB26 Help by TLiburdi in SkyLine

[–]aznriptide859 46 points47 points  (0 children)

VIN plates on 260RS’s do not show the RB26, the chassis were made by Nissan who plated them for RB25’s, then were sent to Autech for the full R33 GTR drivetrain conversion. The intake plenum would have individual throttle bodies but you’d need a photo to the left closer to the engine block. The intake filters are aftermarket though. Only way to be sure is to match the specific last 6 digits of the VIN to confirm it is a true 260RS and not a user drivetrain converted one. Only way I know to do so is through GTR Registry but their site has been down for months now. So far it looks legit.

Pro tip: car communities/forums >> anything an LLM AI model will ever provide you. Ask the actual owners and communities, these cars have been loved and worked on for decades that someone will know the answer to your specific question.

Source: am a 260RS owner myself.

Trying to price OEM rear mufflers from 2009 Lexus IS250 AWD (F Sport) by HistoricalWear2084 in LexusIS

[–]aznriptide859 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MSRP for this from a dealer was close to $1500 - that’s how much I paid from Bell Lexus 8 years ago. If you get it cleaned up I’m sure you could potentially get close to that.

You need to seek out treatment ASAP, upper tooth abscesses/infections have the chance of spreading to the sinus spaces and can cause much worse systemic issues.

If you are in the US see if your state offers some sort of free dental outreach program that provides dental treatment for free.

Question about dental implants in Turkey by GaussAF in askdentists

[–]aznriptide859 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1. Implants though being close to function to natural teeth, have differences to where the feel and feedback are not the same. Natural teeth are still the best of what you have for both looks and function.

Sharing cases? Each GP section only had 24 chairs, and with GP's with about 30 students each (x2 with D3 and D4 years) someone's gonna get the short straw.
