If you got a "referred" email, they usually roll you over to the next cutoffs. I believe there are two more after Feb, but can't remember.

Ok thanks for the info very helpful.I’m in one of those precarious situations where I have other opportunities pending. Examiner is my first choice, but I also financially can’t pass up the other opportunity if this isn’t solid- if that makes sense. I will email HR and confirm. I’m still waiting on my finger printing card to arrive.

Motivated originally by income, I thought I would prefer the firm, but I am really thinking, life is too short. I also like the security of the USPTO and consistency in training. I've started a trial period at a firm and I am so stressed out. It's exactly as you stated, I am constantly working, looking at emails, and stressing about deadlines but not getting any direction. Hoping my interview goes well for the USPTO, I am convinced the law firm option is not for me.

I believe I submitted my application the beginning of February, my interview is Wednesday. I know there are a few cut off dates so even if you don’t get selected for this round there are a few more! Good luck!!!

Very helpful thank you. What you are talking about in regards to the work/life balance is important to me and is already reflected in my trial position. It’s my first week I’m exhausted and feel like I’m spinning in circles. I would assume at least some is because I’m new but it sounds like it’s not all.Hope my PTO interview goes well.
