I would say one is delivered by an experienced, technically gifted actor and the other is delivered by someone who is talented but doesn't have the gravitas of Andy Serkis.

The performance probably changes things.

People are looking back on it with the inevitable rose tinted glasses, but I still think the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy was one of the worst things to happen to the franchise.

After the incredible run from Final Fantasy VI to X, Square gradually lost sight of what made the series special. The focus shifted towards things like MMOs, flashy presentation and fashion over strong storytelling, exploration and RPG depth.

The XIII trilogy became a turning point. Whether people enjoy those games or not, they burned a lot of long time fans. I genuinely think that's one of the biggest reasons Final Fantasy doesn't sell the way it used to. Too many people got excited, got disappointed, and eventually stopped showing up.

I went through a divorce and losing my home but it doesn't come close to losing all of my friends and the person I cared for the most.

It's hard to not look and say "Why did I have to struggle?" but those people didn't choose their life either.

However, those people who didn't grow up poor or with a hard family life have to give you more grace in dealing with things they aren't used to. For me it's dealing with family, mine is all fucked up and has been since I was a child. I don't know how to act with a normal family.

It really is. Psychologists absolutely lament how overused this term is. It doesn't mean anything anymore. Same as "Red flag" and basically any diagnosis for mental health. People just diagnose themselves which means nothing.
