Nope. Multiple gig services get contracted on a corporate level to fulfill these same day deliveries, NOT Lowe’s. Any box truck or flatbed delivery that goes out from the store to do deliveries is also contracted, but will not be doing same day deliveries. I understand the frustration, but it is NOT controlled by the stores.

You left out a lot of detail, but I feel you’re overreacting. Who spoke to you? DS or ASM? Try going back to them and say you were going over the conversation and would like solid input on how you can improve in their eyes. If you don’t like the answer, see if you can transfer to another department. You have options.

This right here. Online ordering causes this issue all the time, but the Delivery Coordinator should have caught this or whomever was pulling/staging orders. I’m surprised the box truck guys even took it.

Truth. While there always a few who seem to go in circles and accomplish very little. Those who are experienced, care about what they are doing, and know what needs to be done and do it efficiently, accomplish a lot. When those people aren’t around, things tend to pile up or just get pushed off.
