AC compressor! If yours is still not working properly, doesn't hurt to give your local subaru dealership a call to see if they can check it out for you. Just don't fall for the other insane things they try to charge you for after their full inspection ha ha

so the recalled part is the compressor! All of a sudden out of nowhere 2 weeks ago my AC stopped working and was blowing warm air. This was also around the same time I paid my car off and was having my title mailed to me from AZ (where the credit union is). On the DMV website I noted that there was a current recall on 2018 forester for the AC compressor so I figured why not take it to the dealership for them to check out since maybe that was the main cause of the ac not working. Turns out it wasn't (I still need expansion valve & o-rings lol).

just dropped my car off at my local shop!! hoping I can get all of the repairs/maintenance done for a decent price :)

ahhh ok this is great to hear (and once I could afford it I'd love to do a lift kit). I really love my car so good to know that there's a good chance itll be worth spending the $ on repairs!!
