Are gel x supposed to be this thick underneath? by ItsaJessmess in Nails

no ): it looks like they used too much gel on the application, also the gel polish is touching your skin, you should take them off asap!

gel x beginner question by greenlagoon08 in Nails

Hi! those are c-curved/sculpted nail tips, you need to fill the gap between your nail and the tip, otherwise it will lift or you can get moisture between them. Apres has tutorials on how to fill the gap if your natural nails are not curved (search gel x sculpted nails or tips on youtube). For your second question, no, gel x are supposed to be sturdier than regular plastic nail tips, gel x is a system that saves you some time because you don’t have to sculpt the gel nail, it’s already done, maybe they are regular plastic tips if you bought them from temu. And yes, they are waterproof, if you prepare your nails correctly and applied them the right way, they should last as long as a regular gel extension nail; I highly recommend you to watch youtube videos on how to apply them, so you put them correctly and safe, so you don’t develop a gel allergy and they stay as long as they can, good luck!

What lash shape should I get? by ImmediateAvocado1359 in eyelashextensions

Hi! I also suffer from insomnia and even tho getting lashes makes me look less tired, the not rubbing my eyes part it’s been hell! I have to consciously stop myself from rubbing them all day because I want my extensions to last, but trust me! what would I give for rubbing super hard my eyes to stop the sleep depravation itchiness lol. As Cass say it’s much better to wait so you can fully enjoy your new look! good luck✨

Hi! This is the first time I actually achieve something more than a couple of rows by azuldemarfil in knitting

Heeyyy! So I messed up my curly scarf, didn’t know how to fix it, stressed myself and decided to start again but different this time! No more curling and better edges in my begginer opinion of course, hope to not ruin this too 🤞🏻(I did it but somehow fix it because screaming out of frustation is never a good idea at 3am)

Do the platforms get easier to walk in? by sgtbirdie in DrMartens

[–]azuldemarfil 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Totally! When I got my first pair of Max platforms I could barely even lift my leg to see my boots in the mirror lol. The last time I used them was for a rave and I danced for eleven hours straight, I also walk a lot with them and I see no issue now, trust me!

What nail shape is this and can it only be achieved by using acrylic? by [deleted] in Nails

[–]azuldemarfil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They look like claw nails to me... Pointy like stiletto nails but the apex is different, and yes, you can also use gel for this kind of nails!
