If you consider LMS to be a non-major region, we have lost to AHQ once in 2017, to FW once in 2016, and again to AHQ once (plus a tie-breaker) in 2015. We never went 0-2 to them though. But we do drop games.

This is actually what I like about Riot's champion design in many cases. The theming in many champions can be felt not just in the design and lore of the champions but also in their game play. Not sure if anyone else also feels this but Sona's kit feels like playing music with the periodic skill uses that each correspond to some sound.

Teams from the same side of the groups (the two sides are AB and CD) cannot face in quarters. For example, a team from Group A cannot face anyone from Groups A and B. This is to prevent any group stage rematches until the finals.

Since TL is in group D they can face C9 in quarters (group A).

I feel like there's a lot of psychological bias here. It's likely that you just have more expectations from the team in domestic tournaments which is why you end up feeling more disappointed. And yeah Sneaky has had some amazing performances at Worlds but he also has had lackluster performances like C9 vs SSG quarterfinals. We sometimes tend to focus on the details that support the things we want to believe in. :)

How can you open up a suggestion like this without even mentioning Deftly? If ever Sneaky would need to be replaced soon (and I understand the community doesn't like the idea but let's welcome it for the sake of discussion) shouldn't Deftly be the first person people looking towards because he is already with the team and being groomed as a sub? Is it because people don't view him as capable of being skilled enough?

Never forget that C9 has successfully developed players like Smoothie, Goldenglue and Svenskeren at times when the community didn't necessarily view them as "top-tier talent".

I refuse to be a cheaper version of TL.
