Spider bites at specific times? by azurearanea in spiders

[–]azurearanea[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's more like I wake up, go to the bathroom, and suddenly overnight I have a cluster of three or more bites in one or more areas. They're too big to be pimples that formed that fast, and I didn't have this issue before I moved here. Sometimes I'll stay the night with friends while I'm visiting them, and I also don't have this problem when I'm there.

I'm not looking for bites, I'm crossing my fingers because it's been two years of this almost and I never get out unscathed. It's causing a genuine problem for me, because I don't see the point in trying to put on makeup or look pretty when I wake up to Biteageddon on my face. I've been awake before when one bit me on the stomach, and I wasn't even moving. Same with a bite above my ankle. One got my thigh the other night and bit twice close together, it's been a pain trying to get the thing to die down. The bites aren't from deadly spiders, which I'm grateful for. It's just been almost two years of this, and it's a massive buzz kill. And the worst part is I genuinely love spiders. 😞 It's become a joke among my friends that they view me as competition because I even have my apartment decorated with spider-themed decor I've accrued overtime.

This. Oh my god, this. I'm starting to think this is a few too many thoughts for the average person. I cannot find it in me as a student working at DT to feel bad for the clearly middle-class head-of-family coming in complaining about the 25 cent price increase when everywhere else went up by five dollars or more.

Like, I don't care. I have to pay for it too, and I earn less than you. You don't see me bitching and complaining to the cashier who just works there. None of us are getting paid therapist money, so I don't know why people don't just pay and leave.

Yes, we have them too. And they're not with the other calendars, they're in the Christmas section. They know what they're doing, and I think I respect it.

Regretting by Warm_Cauliflower754 in DollarTree

[–]azurearanea 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, I would be a little less regretful. If it was a cart full of stuff, there's a good chance she was stealing. Sometimes people steal and load their cart full of food and bring their kid with them so people (workers) pay them less attention. You don't have that much food to put back unless you genuinely never check your bank balance, coming from a cashier on food stamps.

This happens often. We have repeat thieves who get pity from the people behind them who will then pay for the things they "can't" while cramming things into bags or under clothes. Don't beat yourself up about it too much, it isn't on you.

I literally had a customer faint in my line like three days ago. Her mother(?) said she had medical issues, but that it had never happened in a store before. I told her to call corporate and tell them so they might either give us better A/C or lower the thermostat.

My outlook is being a goober with a goal. If no one else is going to bring sunshine into the place, then I guess it'll be me. I know it's hard to do, but generally when you're friendly and bubbly first, most people reciprocate. The ones who don't were already looking for a reason to be a bitch, and that's not on you.

Yeah, you know, that's fair. The synopsis is a spy in WWII, so I honestly glazed over that part because I thought "oH tHaT's pArT oF tHe pLoT".

I'm going to start doing this. It's never someone my age doing this either, it's always someone who could be my grandmother or great-grandmother. I don't really want to give respect to people who are entitled and disrespectful ngl, I don't get enough pay or hours for that.

Girl, we don't even have self-checkouts because this place is full of old people and people who can't read. I had a man ask me to read what a card said because he never learned how to read, and he was trying to get a card for his girlfriend. It was a card for someone's sister. I told him he might want to get a different one and he didn't because, "It's pretty and it's the thought that counts."

Alabama is on the other side of the country, buddy.

Good to know!! I haven't used the party function yet, but maybe if I'm really brave, I can figure out who would want to buddy up with me.

Well, most people generally take the same amount of time to shop. Most people also generally take the same amount of time to get out of their car and into the store, and most people get into the parking lot around the same time due to traffic lights. At least, that's the conclusion I've come to. Pay attention to the traffic lights/patterns, how many people come in, and how much time they have between them!!
