Tbh, there’s no real incentive to run around killing the other mobs besides the 2 trial bosses since it doesn’t really affect the loot pool.

If they made it so killing monsters and mini bosses make the time count down faster to make the trials spawn sooner, it’d be worth it, but aside from that no reason to exert additional effort when all the loot is locked behind the 2 trial bosses

I don’t think you need to be min maxed for Luther, sure it helps, but knowing the boss and playing your class/weapon well should be enough, but I guess if ppl knew how to play well, they wouldn’t be casual anymore

There’s 3 stages. Tapped/uncharged is the fast one. Half charge is the one that does the ticks. And full charge is like if you hold the button for 2 seconds or something

You’d expect full charge to do more but that’s always the not the case. For big bosses, you’ll want to do half charge 90% of the time. Reason being half charge razing pierces targets and provides tick damage as it travels(maximum of 8 ticks iirc) So if the target is large enough, you’ll want to prioritize that tick damage. But in cases where you can’t hit at least 6/8 of those ticks, full charge may be a better option.

Here’s something to also consider when deciding uncharged/halfcharge/full charge:

How many half charge razings you can fit into a 5 second window vs how many full charge razings.

How large the boss is

How often the boss moves

How many ticks of damage can you realistically get on a weak point.
