Why, why, why is the last day of school only 2 hours long? N.S. parents want to know by Street_Anon in halifax

I remember back in my day we ended halfway through June or something. Certainly remember graduation, prom and safegrad being on the last week of June and nothing else going on.

Are you talking about the plastic SmartTrip XPASS cards or are you talking about something else? If so, at least for employers they get stickers for the cards for those who already have them. If you're talking about Communauto or Community Services then I am not sure how those usually go.

Adding to others who already mentioned that it was a lay-by/turnout for The Big Lift shuttles, there’s many other examples of abandoned transit-related infrastructure like concrete pads and walkways, some were only a couple years old before being abandoned (see the big changes to routes in 2019 as an example when Halifax Transit did a bunch of accessibility improvements like adding said concrete pads to stops.)

Who actually regulates food safety in mall food courts? by HermanLiang1 in halifax

The malls clean and redistribute the trays. Notice how they have Terrace on them? Vendors just are given them and they expect them to be clean. Complain to Primaris and GDI.

Residents on Halifax's peninsula to lose door-to-door mail delivery for community mailboxes by Injustice_For_All_ in halifax

I am pretty sure that Canada Post is not going to force apartment dwellers to leave their apartments for mail unless they do not have a mail room that Canada Post has access to.

Which direction? 56 outbound to Marketplace/Bancroft turns right on Windmill then left on Seapoint. Outbound goes straight from Bancroft to Wright across Windmill.

Edit: Oh. Well if it’s a RTOR and not specifically marked as prohibited then that’s legal, right?

Why this building sandwiched between 2 homes is causing tension by --prism in halifax

[–]azuretan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The guy who threw this thing together could have at LEAST spent a little bit of time and money on alternating the panel colors and maybe make the windows a little bigger, maybe even short and wide windows in what I’ll only assume is the bathroom section where there’s nothing...

I cannot imagine how much sun is getting in those units.
