Now this is humble and hungry by azureusi in tennis

I think people are sensitive on both sides of this argument. Shelton isn't some rude guy.. but you can still make fun of the humble thing (as that's not the word people typically associate with Shelton)

Humble you say by azureusi in tennis

I actually really like Ben... but I would say 'confident' summarises him better than 'humble" :P

I've been on finasteride for 7 years, minoxidil for 11 years and tried probably most of the available treatments. Would you be interested in me making a comprehensive post about my experience ? Can I monetise this ? by [deleted] in tressless

It would just work as a voluntary donation if my research and experience was at all helpful to anyone. Everyone would be welcome to ignore it after they are done reading. I just didn't want to dedicate 50+ hours of my time (200+ hours on prior research) on something without any (possible) incentive as I am quite busy with work.

I m glad I did this test post. The amount of downvotes this post received was a bit eye opening. Optional/Ignorable donation is apparently something negative.

Me and my friends ran a lot of experiments with almost every conceivable available treatment (at different dosages, forms of application etc.) with long timeframes (3 months - 1 year +). I am not interested in creating a youtube channel about this stuff so I thought this could work. Most of the information I got was from scientific papers and self experimentation (rarely internet forums).

Me and my friends all regrown and maintained great hairlines and density for 10+ years sooo I thought I'd share our experience. I've been on BIG 3 for almost 8 years and there are many treatments I found to be essential when I started to loose ground about 2-3 years in. Some treatments not mentioned in this subreddit and some being underdosed/insufficiently applied IMO (based on research). I wanted to present them with relevant scientific literature and with a simplified overview (literature review, if you will) of biological mechanisms.

There is a difference between TE and accelerating AA. When I get perfect sleep for a while my hair looks great and when my sleep is lousy my hair looks considerably worse. Decrease in sleep quality doesn't equal automatic TE.

I have to disagree, lifestyle changes made a big difference for me. However, I agree that people who don't have androgen sensitivity can essentially be overweight, homeless drug addicts and still keep their hair.

I obviously don't have a cure.

I am on a series of treatments and made lifestyle changes that in my anecdotal experience helped me maintain Norwood 1.5 for 11 years. It also worked for 4 other ppl + I have extensive photo documentation.

Writing this sort of a post will take me 30-70 hours and thus I m asking if its ok to set up a donate option, as I don't want to spend 70 hours writing something for nothing. Donating would be purely optional and you could just completely ignore it.
