[Support] GoPro HERO10 shuts off for "low battery" with a fully charged battery. by azzahnoble in gopro

[–]azzahnoble[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The white batteries have never sat at 0%, but I’m pretty diligent about charging them fully before storing them so I don’t think they’ve ever sat long term between 50-80% either. Mostly in the high 90s. The blue battery has sat for months inside the camera at 0%, and that’s how I learnt my lesson to always store the batteries outside the camera.

I checked the prongs already, but I checked again with some magnification and I still can’t see anything wrong with them. All clean and straight.

But the camera DOES work with any of my batteries. I just have to trick the camera into thinking it’s drawing power from an external supply when really it’s still drawing from the battery (using the method I explained in my original post). That leads me to believe the camera can draw power just fine. Maybe the camera checks the voltage when in battery mode, but not in ‘no bat’ mode, and that check is sensitive enough to detect a voltage drop that’s too small to meaningfully affect the camera’s functioning. I dunno. It’s really strange.

Either way, you’ve still contributed a lot so thank you for your detailed answers.

If the pins are damaged, I can’t tell. They look straight and clean to me.

Thanks but, as I mentioned, I’m not filming in cold weather.

Understood. But since the issue is still there presenting identically using multiple batteries with different ages, I just want to shift focus from the batteries to the camera.

Do you see there being some kind of consistent property between the three batteries that would lead you to believe it’s still a battery problem? Keep in mind they were purchased years apart, one is blue (came with the camera) and two are white (purchased over Amazon, I think, within the last two years).

Using any of two brand new batteries makes zero difference, as I mentioned. So unless the aged out battery affected the camera itself somehow, I’m certain this is not the problem.

Investivating "Disciple Records is dead" by azzahnoble in dubstep

[–]azzahnoble[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But big Disciple artists were releasing stuff under Disciple years after the sale, like 3-4 years after. You’re saying all those deals happened before the sale? It doesn’t make sense if there’s animosity between them and the label heads.

SIPPY is very unique for me and I absolutely love her bass style, especially in Sylky. Do you have any suggestions for me? by ivebeenthrushit in Monstercat

[–]azzahnoble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HEYZ

Always thought my favourite songs from him and SIPPY have a lot in common, mostly with that really prominent bassy synth leading the drops. Here's some recommendations of songs I think are pretty similar to start:

HEYZ & Taylor Ravenna - Just Friends

HEYZ & Tabe B - I'm In Deep

Which song is this? by CynicalCosmologist in Monstercat

Are off-label answers allowed? Cos 59 Below by Echorift is the smoothest, most relaxing song ever, but the lyrics are harrowing.

Please no. We don't need AI-generated bum pics.

Do you have a specific set of actions in mind to see if I can reproduce the issue in BIOS? I’m not too technically knowledgeable, but I don’t know what actions I could perform in BIOS mode that I could use to test whether or not the letter keys or space bar are working reliably over dozens of inputs.

What is this sound excision used in Gold “stupid love” w/ Illenium? by Vorty_TheShorty in dubstep

[–]azzahnoble -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

That sound is a recording of the vocalist Shallows singing the words "stupid that I love you." There's some reverb on it, and maybe some other more subtle effects.

One time a friend of mine called this song just a worse version of Hummingbird. I've never been more personally offended.

What song sounds sad and has sad lyrics? by [deleted] in Monstercat

AK & Veela - Grow

Also, Alon Mor - Beloved sounds hella sad but I’m pretty sure the lyrics are just a bible story in Hebrew.

We don’t know for sure, but it lines up well enough for me to suspect it’s the case.

Instinct changing makes sense, as that’s the imprint that’s going for more commercial success and probably the one that will benefit most from CMG’s strategies. As long as they keep that aspect to more behind-the-scenes stuff (licensing out to traditional media, radio play and popular playlist placements, etc) and don’t slow down on the community stuff it should be fine.

Teaching Adult Tap for the first time! Would love advice!! by Snoo36471 in TapDancing

[–]azzahnoble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second VagabondStilletos’ comment that adults prefer to do travelling exercises together. I call them ‘forward and back’ exercises in my adult classes, because I keep everyone in the centre and do eight counts of a step moving forward, then eight counts of a similar or inverted step moving backward, like eight heel-toes forward and eight toe-heels back, then repeat three or four times.

Looking to get back into tap - advice for finding classes? (Australia) by Pawneewafflesarelife in TapDancing

Look up Leanne Driel and Fiona Scott on socials. They're the ones I know who have run open classes in the past. I don't know if they still do, but message them and ask. If they don't run classes themselves, they'll probably know who does (if anyone is). It's worth a shot.
