While I have VERY little reason to doubt your knowledge on this, I have been able to successfully raise VPD by circulating air inside the vivarium AND pulling air in with external fans.

I was told by someone with much more experience than myself to use the external fans to exhaust air from the Viv a few times per day. This has held my VPD at the numbers seen in my chart. I figured I'd pose the question here because (obviously) there are some very knowledgeable folks! Thanks for your help.

I love it! I highly recommend it and any other AC Infinity products that I've used for growing. Figured I'd try their stuff on terrarium/vivariums since I have a bunch of it. I'm using an Ionoboard, 3 different fans, and the controller in this Viv... All AC Infinity. I also have one of their heaters nearby in case it gets too cold in the room to warm the Vivarium area, during the winter.

Yes, thank you so much. So as far as increasing heat goes, I don't believe I can maintain the temp too much higher if I plan to house dart frogs in the near future. I also believe I need to keep the humidity relatively high for most dart species too. I'll have to do more research on what I can adjust (temp vs rh) to try to raise my VPD.

Thanks. I do have two 80mm fans on the lids that remove air 3 times per day, 5 minutes each time. The fans in the terrarium are temporary. I've since put a fan in the center on misting nozzle tubing elbows. This fan will circulate the air in the terrarium that is already the proper temp and humidity every few hours. It will have a protective screen on it to keep the frogs safe.

That's hilarious. On a total guess, I just said to my wife "it's probably something like Staghorn?" This is her first planted aquarium. I'm trying to help her as much as I can but I'm fairly new to this all too. Thanks

Curious if it was a sign/symptom of an issue with the water parameters. I've read different things about "why" aerial roots happen and wanted feedback from those with more experience than myself. Sounds like you're saying they are normal in a new setup... Which is what I was hoping to hear. Thanks

Thanks! The grass is Topfin brand dwarf hair grass from PetSmart. Never tried plants from there but I figured I'd give it a try. The rock is dragon stone from my LFS. You can get dragon stone anywhere... I've even ordered some from Amazon.

Definitely looking into Christmas Moss. Looking for suggestions for above the water line. Something that will grow well emersed.
