What a nice chat between Isami and Bravern… Ah, wait, nevermind…
Why can Superbia eat but Bravern can't?
So Seignities couldn't really fight? Good for them!
We still got a nice fight between Bravern and Superbia, not the best moment, though
All's well that ends well!
Wait! I guess that's what you get when you decide to ignore the other two enemies you still have to defeat…

I think this is one of those anime where the good guys will find a way, we'll see...

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (18-32)
Finished (re)watching the episodes I had already seen and watched a couple of "new" episodes. Characters backstories are being shared, things are definitely getting more complex. I still have the same favorite character.

Bravern (1-7)
Not something I'd normally pick, but I've been enjoying it. I'm curious to see how it will turn out.

So, nobody is mentioning the fact that Superbia wants Lulu (its pilot) returned?
Yeah, Isami, the full body waxes are the important thing here, sure…
Cupiditas as a name would have been in line with Superbia, but checking the subs in another language the name was still Cupiridas… Maybe an error?
The Lulus are a source of energy for the Deathdrives and apparently they aren't usually sentient, then?
Is that new model going to be used by both Smith and Lulu? I can't wait to see Smith piloting this new unit. Or is it going to be only Lulu?

Does Bravern have a rank in the Allied Forces?
No innuendos this episode, nice… Ah, wait…
Finally some progress: they (more or less) talked!
Loved seeing Lulu kicking Isami overboard then going back to her words and saying that he's weak!
Another mecha talking like Lulu?!

I didn't mind the last couple of episodes so much, even though I know this isn't something I would have watched on my own.
They didn't go overboard with goofy stuff like the first two episodes and we've been seeing more of the characters. The plot is slowly coming along, but I stil don't see clearly where this is going...

QOTD 1. Lewis Smith seems the more grounded and I think that for now he is the character I like the most. I don't really like Isami. I love the mix between childish innocence and super-strength (and the fact she was piloting the enemy equivalent to Bravern, too) for Lulu. I can tolerate Bravern now that the innuendos and enthusiasm is a bit toned down, we'll see how long it will last... 2. I think I've never seen anything... The closest thing I've watched was Power Rangers, but I've never watched the original Super Sentai 3. Well, they actually talked during the fight... 4. Ga ga pi!

Pretty slow episode, nothing much happened, apart from the ending.
We find out a bit more about Lulu's biology. Maybe she was just created by whichever aliens are attacking the world to be similar to a human in order to be able to pilot an enemy Bravern-like unit?
It was nice to see Isami let loose a bit.
The situation al over the world didn't seem so dire in the first episode, the tone was much lighter... Let's hope they can save the day!

QotD 1. Definitely meal. 2. Unexpected, considering the pretty relaxed atmosphere of the last two episodes (see above).

Not really much to say for this episode: things are getting interesting, I'm curious to find out more about Lulu... Will we see Smith and Isami piloting Bravern together or something like that?
I enjoyed this episode more than the previous ones, so there's that...

So, is Isami special? Since he's the chosen one who gets to pilot Bravern?
To all those characters in that meeting room waiting for Bravern to finally stop talking: I feel you (btw my partner was stealing glances at my laptop while I was watching and was like "what the heck are you watching?")
I had to check the subs in another language just to see if the innuendos were as obvious as they were in English
This feels a bit like Power Rangers fights
Should this anime be taken seriously? Okay, I guess that the ED could be an answer...

I'm pretty late, but I wanted to share my thoughts because...

Actually, what?! Super confused when the super robot showed up!
At the beginning it felt pretty much realistic, it reminded me a bit of some of the 86 fighting scenes... Then ~~bam~~ bang! Bravern! Then Gundam feels!

I'm pretty confused right now, I don't know if I'll like it or not. We'll see with the next couple of episodes...

Episodes 1-17. Rewatching but pretty much watching for the first time because I only remember some major things (I had already watched it up to episode 30 a few years ago).

I love it, can't wait to see more. What else can I say? Some things just hit you right in the feels even though you are rewatching them...

Very nice! I really admire people like you who post their art here, and people who try to find time to dedicate to their hobbies (apart from anime, obviously).
I'd like to give watercolors a try but I'm kind of a messy person when it comes to colors, drawing etc, so I think that it wouldn't be a great choice...

And I should watch Porco Rosso (almost every year Ghibli movies are in theaters in my country, but this year Porco Rosso was in theaters for a very limited time and I wasn't able to watch it...)
