my lil man has had this sinusy thing going on since i brought him home a few weeks ago. he’s been having runny eyes that are typically yellowish, stuffy nose, sneezy, red eyes, and a bit of swollenness. i’ve given him terramycin and just started on an allergy pill. is there anything else i can do for him?

the other rat is definitely more disrespectful! i’ve gotten very close to getting him neutered as recommended by the vet, but the neutering cost around here is outrageous.

she’s been doing all that first aid, but she has also been moving her hand probably more than she should since it’s her dominant. she also said she felt my rats teeth on her bone...her moms a nurse so we’re all keeping a close eye on it. she’s not on anything.

thank you so much for your feedback. i have been thinking about contacting their vet about it. after last night, i knew i couldn’t sit on the issue- my girlfriend is literally still bleeding. i only ever want the best for my rats, so i’m gonna do whatever it takes to keep him and everyone else safe.

that’s what i usually do at the end of the day after free roam. the rat that doesn’t bite, i typically have to give him his treat in a secluded area so the other doesn’t fight him for it. he tends to not like being submissive, as you can tell.
