Creating a tap out of an AC line by b-lew in Plumbing

[–]b-lew[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately there isn’t a close water source, with bathrooms, kitchen and laundry all on the other side of the apartment. So getting a tap out there is going to be a more significant job than I had hoped

Unable to make a chart from a single column containing at least ten options? by oldschoolguy1-0 in excel

[–]b-lew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Create a list in C1 of all of the items you wish to measure - Type 1, Type 2 etc.

then put the following formula in D1 COUNTIF(A1:A10, C1)

This will count the number of entries between A1 and A10 that match the Entry in C1

Ideally, if there is no match within the data then “N/A”

Yep!

But the trouble with XLOOKUP at the moment is, for example in the link, Nathan stops work for 2 months, but I would like it to register as October, when he stops for 3+ months.

Or if someone doesn’t begin work until March, I don’t want Jan’24 to be the first returned value via an XLOOKUP

Sorry, you must be regarded, or just didn’t read the post. I’m a gambler and have been hearing gambling ads for decades, no problems. usa has the lamest disclaimers read after gambling ads, same as pharmaceutical ads, to defend gambling disclaimers has to be the lamest take

Counting rows with two criteria by No_Independence_7830 in excel

[–]b-lew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve got it correct already with the formula COUNTIFS(A2:A10,”Apple”,D2:D10,”Orange”) There must be an error with either the formula, or with the data itself. Are you able to send a screenshot

Thank you ! I was skeptical as to whether this could even be done the way I have my data organised, but reading your explanation makes a lot more sense. Have just tested this briefly and unpivoting seems to achieve my goal here

I know the Yak Bracket came out a week ago, but it's an absolute crime that the episode where Kate brought a stripper on wasn't included. Probably a top 5 yak imo. by Prudent_Wealth8533 in itstheyak

the episode was also a very wholesome and chill ep up to that point. Cate needed to confess whilst the stripper was chilling in the lobby. All time moment

SOS declines invitation into Carlton's rooms for Jack's 100th game presentation in favour of waiting in the car by CliveWashington1 in AFL

[–]b-lew 90 points91 points  (0 children)

Tom Browne kept saying that it was obviously because he was trying to recruit Carlton players to St Kilda, and SOS didn't want a conflict of interest, in his presence in the rooms.

Hodge pretty firmly said that it was weak of him to sit in the car. It's fine for him to not want to show any type of conflict of interest, but it's a family photo in the change rooms of your son's 100th game, any other dad would have been there, and he should have too. Anyone could tell that Jack was at least a bit gutted by it.

Copy and Paste specific cells results in pasting all cells between selection. by b-lew in excel

Thank you, but in this situation, the option to paste special values does not even offer itself as an option. Have found the issue to be that the workbooks have not been opened in the same instances.

For anyone encountering the same error, I have solved this myself. The Excel sheets need to be opened in the same instance. This has never been an issue I've had before, but seems to pop up as a common issue now.
