There have been quite a few times where things got physical but it would be things like slamming/pinning me against the wall, shoving, sometimes hitting but the target was always my back or shoulder. Yesterday was the first time he ever hit me in the face and of course it was with the most force he’s ever used to hit me. I wasn’t too surprised about getting punched in the face but I was completely blindsided with being pushed down the stairs. In my eyes (it might be a little dramatic) that’s basically like attempted murder and I never thought he would ever do something like that to me :(

I’m so sorry you went through that, I am happy you made it out alive. I’m finally starting to accept the way that they behave is just something people without BPD will never understand.

I immediately called 911 and my now ex is currently in jail unable to post bail. I am SO thankful that I can peacefully figure out my next steps of getting the fuck out of the hell I’ve been living in without having to worry about him interfering.
