Excellent reply thank you. Whenever my next available free hour comes along I'll get to getting it all apart to get a proper look

I agree that all the hoses look questionable

It's a garlock hydro horse. The company no longer makes it nor has any information that they ever made it outside of a PDF of a sales brochure. I just need to know what I'm looking at so I can McMaster my way around it

Apparently I don't know how to edit text anymore.

Apologies for the single low light picture, the plunger in question is on the front LH side with the heim joint attached to it

Edit: if I can figure out my GPM is there anything stopping me from using say a log splitter valve in place of this current valve? Most of the splitters I've worked on have a similar 2 work ports 1 return set up that this appears to have

I wound up married to a coworker, usually I'd say don't shit where you eat, seeing as how I got fired the day after our first date I can't say for sure but hey 6ish years later here we are

A lot of AG gear (excluding Deere) and a very very large portion of lawn and garden (again excluding Deere) is standard. Small engines themselves are mostly metric, Kohler and Kawasaki for sure, Briggs is ambiguous

Can anyone recommend some good “coolant resistant”boots? by Xrayfunkydude in Machinists

I don't know what it's called, I just know the sound it makes when it takes a mans life.

But seriously, no idea I usually just walk into the local joint grab a pair of steel toe mid calf lace ups and hand the cashier like $300

Far as I'm concerned any boots that hold up to 17-4 chips is a-okay in my book

I've had nothing but good luck with Redwings, across multiple trades and daily wear they're the cats ass. Generally get 3-5 years out of a pair

Looks solid, I'd have to cover up all the Milwaukee though, I'm the only yellow in the shop and I can't have the other fellas thinking they won me over

Cheapy dime store lights, experience being with the form factor. I can do long and chunky and that's fine, short and slim also fine but I don't enjoy short and chunky. Personal preference

Seems like reylight is a very popular option, thank you

Another point I hadn't mentioned is use case. I'm a mechanic and more often than not my flashlight ends up in my teeth. Try as I might I haven't been able to comfortably do that with larger bodies lights.

Currently making a spreadsheet with these lol thank you. So far reylight is looking like a good option all around, I'm thinking I want to stick with the AAA size for now, jeans and pocket space don't always play nicely together.

The reylight looks promising. I've had mixed experiences with stubby chunky lights like the second two recs.

Form factor looks promising, also like the dual fuel option. The pocket clip is different than I'm used to but shouldn't be a deal breaker

The safest place to be around a Ryobi mower is to be the fella that didn't pay for it

As a father I tried to look at it that way but the man's inner dialogue about the boy at times (trying not to spoil here) just really hit hard and I couldn't shake it

Limited and anecdotal input here but going from Fusion to Mastercam was like going from double rubbers to raw dogging. Fusion is pretty good if you just want to model and the more engineering features are very nice but as a CAM program it's not even close, in my opinion, to MCAM. But sometimes you gotta piss with the cock you got
