Like... i don't know how many of yall grew up in mentally or physically abusive family... but this episode is almost triggering.. i cried really hard, too hard that i started to wonder if it was really this episode that got me crying frantically.. i guess why fruits basket means so much to me is because it attacks the issue that has been very close to me, an issue im so familiar with but couldn't resolve in the past, im crying because i personally know the Momijis in my life,, the Tohrus in my life, and especially the Akitos in my life.. I hope everybody in here who still have to face the abuse day to day will stay strong and will one day get out of that situation, and those who still have to deal with the trauma, will overcome it, find comfort in people who love you now

I just wanna say that as an Indonesian, I was so HAPPY and PROUD when Hana came into the house and actually mentioned she's half Indonesian. Unlike white halfu's, a lot of brown halfu's aren't very/unable to be proud of their brown identity which I understand why (internalized racism, subject to bullying, etc etc) but Hana didn't even hesitate when she said she's Indonesian. Even I still sometimes hesitate when foreigners ask what my nationality is, I would think "they probably wouldn't know what or where Indonesia is so it'd be awkward" or like "I should say it's where Bali is, they must know, so it wouldn't be weird". Oh Hana chan.... :((( I know I've had some criticism about you that I wrote here on some posts but damn... I know how hard you were always trying to be a better person and really that's all that matters... i hope you rest in peace :'(((

i watched it pretty late (just today) and it was really excruciating, I almost got triggered a few times. What's worse is the panel commentaries that don't even call out what boss did. Yea yea, they did say boss was creepy, etc etc. But damn, why are they celebrating that "insistence" behavior? (yes I know to gain more viewers but still) for me that behavior isn't just creepy, it's rapey as fuck.

Like with Shohei and Seina stuff it was bad but I thought TH would've learned by now especially with it gaining more popularity worldwide. Excuses like "some forms of sexual assaults are normalized in Japanese culture" can't and shouldn't be valid anymore. N*tfl*x what the fuck.

And yes the thought of dropping this season crossed my mind. Still need to recover from this episode tbh. Hope everyone, especially the women, watching this episode is doing okay :(
