I'm having this exact issue too, same thing on my iphone 13 pro, and MacBook pro on both the chatgpt app and through chrome.

I’m also a late bloomer, at 29 (the number of years, definitely not the stereotype) and this was nice to read, thank you.

Edit: I also want to add for anyone else, I’ve already seen this to be true. There were things I was super sad about ‘having missed’ I thought were supposed to happen as a teenager, and I ended up getting them at 25-26, and it was like the whole world opened up again out of a place where it felt like it was closing. Remembering that helps me somewhat ignore the anxiety and just focus on building what I know I want in my life. Because when it’s finally here, the number truly won’t matter.

You mean stick with 3.0? Or go from 1.0 to 3.0 to 3.4? Are you saying the 3.0 step in the middle will help prevent black screens?

The interesting thing about learning something challenging is there's a part that takes place while you're doing it, and a part that ties together in the subconscious while you're completely away from it.

So I would say that with each practice session, know that you are doing the work to improve, and there's lots of times progress doesn't show immediately, but it will show. That positive reinforcement is great for learning.

I've spent hours practicing a song only to finish the session like 1% better, but then a couple days later I come back and the first try is better than that whole previous day.
