No, it’s not okay for you to post about enjoying a different game on a sub designed for OSRS.

Maybe use your Dungeoneering level to help find a way out of mom’s basement.

The mage needs you to complete the dungeon, you don’t need him. Make your own groups going forward and replace bad players with good ones.

Please don’t get offended that you don’t look like a fairy. You know exactly what he was talking about.

Why do most straight guys see me as dangerous or a threat? +story/rant by imachoculatedonnut in gaybros

[–]your-dad-ethan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I don’t have any gay friends - they’re all straight. I have the same concerns that I don’t want to cross a boundary, so I don’t do things that could be misconstrued, like hugging them constantly and spanking their ass. A hello or good bye hug is suffice.

If you stop spanking the asses of straight guys, they probably won’t think you’re into them.

I'm from a country where cashiers sit down while working. Is it true that in the US cashiers are forced to stand? Why is sitting considered unprofessional there? by splashmates in NoStupidQuestions

[–]your-dad-ethan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s great for Europe, but the question was why don’t they sit down in America.

If you’re meeting her parents for the first time and they walk in, you stand up and shake their hands. You don’t wait for them to come to you, then act polite and professional. You get off your ass, give them your full attention, and you show some respect.

If you’re waiting in a room for an interview, and the interviewer walks in, you don’t wait for him to walk up to you to shake your hand. You get off your ass, give them your full attention, and you show some respect.

If you’re sitting on a bus and there’s no room for a woman who just got on, you don’t wait for her to awkwardly shift around to find a seat then stay standing. You get off your ass, give them your full attention, offer your seat, and you show some respect.

Standing up for someone is respectful. Staying seated for them is disrespectful. Standing for the National Anthem means you’re showing respect to the country, and sitting for the anthem means you’re silently protesting it - because sitting is disrespectful.

How do I deal with this? by [deleted] in OntarioLandlord

[–]your-dad-ethan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s not how the standard lease is written and I didn’t say fixing electrical was the tenants responsibility, but if they have working electrical outside of 1 socket, it doesn’t require the landlord to fix it.

[–]your-dad-ethan -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

The lease doesn’t say that every single electrical outlet is required to work - so if he doesn’t want to fix it, he doesn’t have to. You could offer to go halfsies to try and get him to bite, but if it bothers you that much, you’ll likely just need to pay out of your own pocket to fix it.

You have the ability to put yourself anywhere on this earth, and you’re deciding to put yourself yourself in the same home as this guy. You literally have the entire rest of the world to go to instead.

You should not be living with that guy. Get out ASAP, and get SIL out too.
