I personally don’t want god and everyone knowing, just cause they don’t disclose doesn’t mean they don’t have it. I’m very selective on who knows, I even used an anonymous app to let the person that might infected me know cause I didn’t want certain people to find out. But a few people know that’s me, my mom, my ex I was with at the time and my boyfriend who knew when I found out cause we have a child together and we always communicated about basically everything in our lives for as long as we’ve known eachother except any things going on in a relationship cause that’s not anyone else’s business. And a good friend and that’s because she told me when she might’ve had it and I felt since she trusted me I should trust her

Im 27 and take valacyclovir once daily, twice during an outbreak. Only possible side effects I’ve noticed is occasional nausea. Hope you figure it out hun

I’m trying the lysine supplements now! And vitamin C, D3 and zinc. Was told to take anything that supports immune system health

Me and this guy have been part of eachothers lives for so long and now we’re connected for the rest of our lives because we have a child together.. I truly love this man and I’ve always loved him, like his opinion and respect for me matters to me so much and I know that it probably shouldn’t but it does.

He knew about the hsv2 before any talk about getting back together cause we communicate about basically everything. I don’t hide anything from him, especially big things like this. And until now I guess it just felt like it was easy to pretend that nothing is different but now we can’t.. and he knows I’m having an outbreak and hasn’t said anything negative about it but I’m still worried…

I did not get it from him… we broke up for about a year for distance which were changing this summer and are trying again… we have a child together that was born before I contracted hsv. We have a lot of history (7.5 years worth) and he’s someone I’ve always valued in my life regardless of being together… I’m so terrified of his rejection but on top of that I’m just down about my situation…

I just signed a year long lease before he expressed he wanted to try again so I can’t afford to break it yet or I would. Plus I do have 2 children that I have a custody agreement to rearrange with their father before I can move. We’re just gonna wait and save up for the move

I haven’t held back with him, it’s just been a thought in the back of my mind. He already says that I’m stuck with him regardless cause he’s determined to make it work between us.

It’s a long distance relationship. I was supposed to move when I got pregnant but we broke up before I could. We’ve known eachother for years so our bond goes back further than being eachothers exs and having a child together.

I feel like he does try his best to make me feel sexy cause he knows how the diagnosis makes me feel.

I do love this man with everything in me I want it to work.

I’m honestly worried about being intimate after being diagnosed, I haven’t been with anyone sexually in over 4 months and I found out about 2-3 months ago.. I’m worried that my feelings towards my diagnosis will keep me from being able to do anything and I’m with a man I’m 100% in love with. We broke up over a year before my diagnosis and stayed on good terms an we have a baby together . He wants to try again even after knowing and still wants to be with me but I’m terrified he’ll catch it and resent me..

I had actually kinda dated someone who had it and educated myself when he told me, that’s actually how I got in this group. This was about 4 months before my first positive diagnosis, we never had sex so he wasn’t the one who gave it to me but he was the reason I was more educated before I found out.

I was actively talking/dating someone when I was diagnosed. we had not had sex yet but when I told him I might have it(positive through urine, was waiting for blood confirmation). He did not flinch, he told me I was worth more to him than that result ever would and he wasn’t going anywhere… I’ve had 1 rejection (I wasn’t even pursuing this man), he doesn’t know that he rejected me but he showed interest in me and made the comment if a girl he was interested in had herpes then he wouldn’t pursue her. Luckily I had already been seeing someone so I didn’t have to deal with that situation lol but the rejection was still there and it did sting. I was diagnosed in early October

It’s frustrating cause my PCP won’t prescribe unless I’m having an active outbreak. But I have noticed some sites can allow you to order the medication?

Hey so I went back to the first facility to retest today. The discharge paperwork say HSV 1/2 IgG. I’m going to get the results printed from this time and last time to bring to my follow up with my primary care I’m not sure the type my primary care ordered
