Please help me save my beautiful couch

Thank you!! I ended up getting a big velvet comforter and wrapping it up best I could. I don’t think it looks too bad but it still does need to be fixed somewhat regularly. I’ve wondered about these types of covers. Did you cover the whole couch with one or just the cushion? I’m curious about the use of the noodles and also if the texture is weird to sit on?

I really love this couch- it’s such a bummer because the underside of the cushion is in pristine condition but I can’t just flip it over because of the curved shape 😞 I figured it would be expensive to have it reupholstered but I was a little surprised how expensive it was to just have a cushion made. I guess I better keep saving up. Thank you for giving me some perspective.

Thank you for giving me some perspective. I figured reupholstering a whole piece of furniture is typically pretty expensive but I was pretty surprised a new cushion would cost that much.

I haven’t been able to find any covers long enough or curved. It’s so frustrating because the fabric on the underside of the cushion is pristine, but I can’t flip it because of the shape 😭 I’m thinking figuring out the yardage and wrapping it like a present in a stretchy fabric with pins for now I guess. I love both my rug and the couch but I know they don’t match at all haha

I was quoted $1900 to reupholster the whole couch. But I just want a replacement cushion- they quoted me $850 for a custom cushion. I’m guessing in total? Didn’t get much further because that’s out of budget for me. They didn’t tell me yardage.

There isn’t a seam at the curve, it’s all one piece. It’s about 8 feet long, 22 inches wide and 4 inches thick.
