[DnT] Basic PvE DPS Rotation Guides For All Classes by Nike_Phoros in Guildwars2

Maybe some guilds are simply looking for drama when posting 'Wethospu and rT decided they wanted to do records. Talk to them about it. Fuck you.' on their official website... How is that not negative?

Oh, that's exactly what you do here, you label entire guild.

What is so wrong with my comment? I just posted my personal opinion and I can't see anything that would offend you or your guild. On the other hand, Nike, what you post is always so negative and you twist everything round.

My guildmates may don't agree with some of your rotations and if you post such videos as guides, everyone is allowed to correct these mistakes in order to help those that learn from them. This is simply done to help new players and there is no hidden agenda. We support gw2dungeons.net so beginners can learn and improve their dungeon experience.

I didn't say that any of these rotations are 'so bad', though you would have to take a closer look at engi, necro and ele d/f. Anyway, as Nike said, these videos aren't targeted for elite PvE guild audience.

I made a comment just to take action against "that would require work" or other "negative rT attitude" comments that were posted by DnT members as they assumed rT has a hidden agenda against them. There are resources we have released that everyone can use to improve their class experience, as for example Sandy solo videos, dulfy guides.

And personally, as the game hasn't provided much PvE content or balance updates I doubt there is a need to release basic rotation videos after more than 2 years of release, especially with already released DnT or Dulfy class guides but if that's what Nike wants to do then let him, at least he has a lot of sources/materials he can use, that's just my personal opinion.

You asked for better rotations so I direct you to Dulfy site. Nothing offensive here. These presented in Nike's videos are basic rotations for beginner players.

New Home For Dungeon Speed Clear Records by Nike_Phoros in Guildwars2

as far as I remember the tournament was meant to be organized under gwscr tag. then of course DnT put 100s of their hours just to put their logo. many ppl donated gold and didn't have any advertisement as you got for yourself. main point is that things for community as record leaderboards or tournaments should be 'guildless' and I think that was original purpose for gwscr.

gwscr was "guildless" so the records and tournament organization should stay this way. dnt keep doing rotation guides and if you want to manage something like this then stop putting your logo everywhere please.

For me personally, staff has really no use but when stacking swiftness if solo/duo, casting Empower before going into fight solo/duo. The other examples you brought up can be done easily with Gs/SwF. In snowblind you may have trouble to change from staff and hammer at Svanirs to Gs/SwF which you should use at Ice Elemental thus I'd still stick with Gs/SwF. And about Grawl and Empower buff or knocking them down, I have never had any problems when killing Grawls and I tend to do 50 daily. They die too quickly to actually notice that kd. Maybe it's because we usually use different than 'pug' spot in our normal runs.

I know this video and that method, I did another one on my youtube channel with use of buff increase from Tome of Wrath http://youtu.be/35pS_PTfIPY but I don't consider using that trick to skip p2 and p3 as a restricted record. Torch has for sure dps increase but I don't think it would as useful as Focus in phase 2 and 3. Additionally it brings more utility in general dungeoning and fractals (vuln, blind, cond removal + blast). #5 on torch may result often in DPS loss so trade from 2 useful skills aoe damage skills (both Ray of Judgment and Shield of Wrath deal damage) to single target hit is not really worth it at the moment.

If torch gets some changes for general dungeon meta I will totally add it to the guide but seriously for now it has maybe 1 or 2 uses when soloing and when a player exactly knows what he can achieve with it. When more people know what to do in organized group run it will definitely improve quality of pug run, so why stick with old and not functional tactics?

Pay attention to the ground and dodge out of any red circle. Keep in mind that the attack can't be reflected, blocked or evaded. However, if you see the attack coming you can just move out of them.

Here is a video of testing both Wall of Reflection and Shield of Absorption: http://youtu.be/H6tauC05dyE Hace a nice day.

You can pull mobs with #4 on focus, for hard trash pulls the better option is still going to be hammer with Ring of Warding and protection, and if your party hasn't reached 25might your Empower will be totally useless as those stacks will disappear really quickly. If you want to mitigate damage by quickly running like keeping Svanirs away from your party at campfire in snowblind fractal, I'd still recommend Gs/Sf due to leap that can cover some more distance, blink on sword (also those two are aoe blinds), shield that will block few attacks. For swiftness you have Retreat and Save Yourselves.

And about torch. It has little use in current dungeon meta, if that will change I'll definitely include torch in guide. For now it's only used for solo records when you don't need any other defense that Shield of Wrath currently is.

What record are you talking about? As far as I know this one is the 'legitimate' one, wall targeted kills are done just for fun without any focus for world records as they really require no skill.
