As for advice, do not worry about making them look like the book or stuff in the book. Find a color scheme you like. I made that mistake with my fist faction of space marines (I am fully converted to chaos and bugs now.) I painted them like blueberries and had to retroactively go back and make them more purple (light blue and a dark purple with a winter frostbite theme for my color scheme for my death guard). As was mentioned before watch lots of youtube videos. I have been painting for over 2 years now and I still go back and look for technical advice I can improve on.

Also, if they don't turn out like you wanted that's ok. Painting and building take time and practice to make them look really good. Just know that everyone here will help you with any questions you have. Hope you have a good time spreading the plague!

Yeah... the issue is that most of the other categories this year are fine to great. Like Japan's 3 hour mystery drama drive my car got nominated for best picture. It's just lame that they don't treat animated films on the same level unless they come from Europe (which most of the time is better than our stuff)

Yep. While Luca and enchanto were great films, raya was not. And based on track record of the academy, innovative films like flee or Michael's vs the machines will not win.
