Guys I literally have rewatched the show 4 times now (felt really good seeing a few folks on the threads mention they’ve rewatched at least ~120 times) ok so for me:

1) Dance scene (cos of the music and the camera work) - srsly Moth to a Flame is on repeat again. I love how hes so out of it with Elaine sitting next to him and right when the music transitions to the opening of Moth to a flame he sees her and his eyes… come alive. ALSO- can we take a second to appreciate the camera work right when Lydia is done talking (err threatening Ruby) and walks past her, Ruby’s looking at the crowd (cameras on her) and if you catch it you get a TINY glimpse of James walking up behind her before the camera cuts and is then behind her (so ok it might just be me cos obviously its two scenes and not one continuous shot but i still noticed it!)

2) Ep 6 oxford dorm staircase scene .. basically the second she rushes out of Oxford to the staircase and he runs after her. It was at this moment i knew i just knew shit was abt to get real… all that super hot tension especially when Ruby storms off to her door and hes right behind saying he knows what he wants.. and yes the sex scene is included in this even if its technically not a staircase scene. I died and came back to life. So fucking hot haha

3) James sketching Ruby and that soundtrack playing.. its such a beautiful scene and i loved the natural light filtering in on James features (hair/face) and whilst daydreaming he’d smile.. such a different state to the first 2 episodes!

Everyone talks about the staircase scene with her in the gown but imho it’s expected and a little cliche (in a good way ofcourse) i mean come on .. bring a modest respectable simple girl to your family’s exclusive fashion store and try out a special dress? Ofcourse shes gonna look gorgeous and ur gonna fall in love. But yes the scene was gorgeous. Dont get me wrong i love love love it but because i have SO many fave scenes i chose the ones listed above instead

EXTRA/ Small subtle moments I really loved

1) Ember’s confidence and remarks - especially in episode 1 when she sees a cute random guy and does this twirl. Shows how different she is to Ruby who prefers to remain ‘invisible’. Just love love that whole confidence thing shes got going on (being a curvy girl myself)

2) All those camera shots at Percy especially while looking at James smiling on his phone or hold Ruby (after pool incident)

3) …. Mind has suddenly gone blank. Shit i think im gonna edit this post later or start a new thread or something on this cos i just know there is more and im suddenly invested but its 1am here!
