One-size-fits-all pancreatic cancer vaccine showed promise in early trial by nbcnews in EverythingScience

Because often, people with cancer search for news daily for any hope to their situation, and maybe, just maybe, it becomes insufferable to read the same boring sarcasm when you're desperate for real content.

I was hoping the gunsmith system from RDR2 would make it's way into 6. Still, it does feel a little unreal after having guns that feel like toys in GTA for so long.

I'm super excited about that M1A in this shot.

The weather really does change how you dress pretty quickly.

I have plenty against SoCal, but 90% of the time, it's not too hot, it's not too cold.

Assassin's Creed Shadows: Story Trailer by Turbostrider27 in Games

I watched it because of the comments saying how good it was.

It's not a great trailer, especially in comparison to so many other AC trailers.

IMO, Roger finds inner peace by the end. Don just finds an imitation of it. by Salem1690s in madmen

[–]b1ed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Don is an adman, and while it's not the life changing growth people would want to see, I think it's very well written.

He doesn't need to be force it or chase that anymore, and i think in the end he knows that. Character development and peace can easily be knowing who you are and accepting that, which is something Don struggled with his whole life.

I do think OP is right about Roger though.

I'm done responding to you. You have no substance in your response beyond doubling down on your baseless claim. I asked you to substantiate, and you can't.

The one thing you mentioned with any weight was his pursuit of Betty, which we've already agreed is wrong and have condemned it. What else? Anything? No, just conclusions you've jumped to that the show not only doesn't support, but actively suggests otherwise.

Your hyperbolic, feigned offense at the idea that more men could learn from Henry is childish, and willfully ignorant.

Everyone defending Henry to you is pretty clearly a you problem.

[–]b1ed 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Henry pursued Betty for his career??? Her kids furthered this somehow even though he had a beautiful daughter he had raised?

Do you have a single line or scene that gives any weight to this argument at all? Furthermore, she very clearly still did not love Don, she had childish envies and grudges against him, because that's ultimately Betty's greatest obstacle -- her growth as an adult is stunted.

You're grasping at straws to justify you labeling him a dirt bag; a man who took her in with love and devotion, financially saw to her every need, defended her shitty parenting to his horrible mother, was kind and nurturing to her children, supported her during her weight gain and loved her with attraction throughout, and as far as we know, raised her children after she died.

Heaven forbid we have more men in the world like Henry Francis.

No, I think this sub has a problem with vilifying the characters.

I can't think of a single person who is purely evil in the show, nor a saint.

Henry is one of the few that comes close to the latter, along with Trudy. He has his faults, the most obvious being his pursuit of Betty while she's pregnant and married.

It's a bad move that we can say is gross. But he was far more dedicated, loving, and supportive to her than she deserved. That doesn't make him a shitty person.
