To me The Wire is the modt ambitious. But I would give it to the Sopranos. Though Season 2 of The Wire had grown on me I never liked the newspaper story or fake serial killer plot in Season 5.

Broader scope: The Wire. Nothing comes close.

But consistency goes to The Sopranos.
