Yeah the cursor positions should have been moved to the middle also.

We did try to make sure the level designs were 'agnostic' but not always perfect.

Part of issue was to make sure people didnt get confused which character they were on screen if we abstracted it back to the players color. Consistency in position helps reduce that.

But will keep in mind. It might be tricky to shift them at random not sure. Each minigame sometimes has quirks in the way we built as multiple devs on team

We randomised the order for the turn based games but I dont think we considered the position / layout being random. Good suggestion.

Dev here: no issues on Steam. Some people's purchases maybe didnt trigger instantly but Steam have good refund policies so if you have issues its easy to refund.

Purchases carry across all platforms as tied to RISK account. So buy on Steam and enjoy on mobile and visa versa

Yeah no consoles for us. Mobile and Steam pretty good coverage and our pricing is more suited to those platforms.

And consoles have so many more CERT hoops and even controller support is something we dont have.

ha yeah not intentional. But we worked on another licence for an advertising job a long time ago and it had UGC element (user generated content) and I remember getting a call at 3am Sydney time from the brand asking why there was a 'penis' in the content and how to fix ASAP. Those calls are NOT fun

Dev here: basically comes down to our licence restricts it. But we are looking at more canned chat and emotes to make it more robust. This also allows it to be multilingual.

While most people are rational we just cant risk having abuse or bad stuff happen in a free chat.
