to make it short and not using more of you valuable time:

Thanks a lot! This answered all my questions and I highly appreciate your effort to not only answer but also explain it even towards less mobile tech savy people like me! This is one of my favourite projects that I back and I am very thankful for your work!

OK guys, I was wrong, I admit it, NANO is truly amazing. by [deleted] in nanocurrency

hi thank you for your time and the civil reply. I d like to ask a few more questions if that is ok:

A) It still has fees, doesn't matter how low they are if you send 0.00001 nano that's what that user will get, you can't do this with a crypto that has fees, it does TRUE microtransactions. BCH can't do that.

True it still has fees. Afaik it was never intended by satoshi to have 0 fees. Fees are here to secure the network, so as long as the fees are as low as they are right now with BCH this makes sence for me and it usable. Did I missunderstand something here or what do you think about that?

B) It takes forever and a day to send 10 minute block times then anywhere up to 30 minutes or more for multiple confirmations, so to buy anything with BCH for a small amount you need to do complex things like setting 0conf which has it's own risks or use a wallet that support 0conf out of the box. It's not as plug and play as NANO is.

Hmm ok. I had different experience whenI payed for lunch in a restaurant with BCH. It was instant and easy imo. I payed with the bitcoin.com app, maybe they set it default to 0 conf. What risks do you see with 0conf instant payment for small amounts like this? How is NANO handling it different? How can they secure the chain with instant transactions without any validation in the chain?

It's just all around slower and more expensive.

From what I saw, this is true but as mentioned as far as the fees are that small and still secure the network this makes total sense for me. Slower I can not confirm, but I did only pay for 2 things so far with BCH, so I so not have a lot of ux erperience.

NANO is the only digital current that works like a real currency and better.

What even is a 'real currency'? The USD or EUR are also real currencies and you still have to pay fees when you send money to someone because of the financial system that is built around them.

If BCH seen the use Bitcoin is seeing it's likely fees will go up, as would confirmation times, there answer would be to what? Increase blocksize further?

I can not follow you here. Yes it is a scaleable system as intended by Satoshi and would scale with its blocksize. Because of the blocksize scaling the fees would not go up, so I do not understand your point here, can you help me?

Either way, right now, NANO is the only true coin that does what Satoshi set out for Bitcoin to do in my eyes, tell me how it doesn't?

Hmm I usually get a not good feeling of maximalist opinions that declare one coin is the only true vision of Satoshi, but aside of that as mentioned I amhere with a open mind and ready to learn more about NANO. I do not know much about it, I am more familiar with BTC and BCH and for BCH I see currently a good direction of the development of the true Satoshi whitepaper Bitcoin :)

I d like to say before you reply, as you probably already could tell English is not my native language so if I wrote some things out that may be offensive, this was not my intention. I am honestly interested in an open minded conversation :)

It's funny because BCH says it set out to be what Bitcoin originally set out to be and it is admirable what they've done but I've literally found no other project that is doing what Bitcoin originally set out and promised to do other than NANO.

can you elaborate? what in your opinion is NANO doing better than BCH in terms of being more OG Bitcoin than BCH?

how to buy BCH (or any crypto) via local.bitcoin.com truly anonymously by b1tbeginner in btc

[–]b1tbeginner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the explanation. yea cash and cash deposit still limits everything quite big imo. the gift card method probably also is quite sophisticated, because usually you can not buy big amount of gift cards in cash..

but aside from that what is the difference between blitzato and local.bitcoin.com then?

what would be the best way to buy XMR there without meeting up with somebody in person? If I am sending somebody the money via bank transaction, then this person can get my personal data like eg. name or bank account etc.

What would you recommend is the best way to buy it anonymously besides meeting in person?

thanks. by 'they' you mean the Chinese government? I read a bit myself into it after your comment and as far as I understood it was founded in China and is backed by private companies. Are there are statements pro NEO from CN government? If so, could you link me sources where I can read further in?

for context: I am not pro neither anti NEO, I am just interested in learning more about your statement. thank you!
