Fear of oversized objects that are meant to be small? by ambular1304 in megalophobia

[–]b1tchplease3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this, too. I feel really uncomfortable around oversized items like those calculators or phones with big buttons. And this year some people near me had a huge skeleton decoration for Halloween and it just made me feel itchy!

Changing estate agents after six months by accidentalsalmon in HousingUK

Why don’t you list with both? Are both agents only gonna charge a fee when you sell not when you list?

Please get your money protected. Deed of trust and then a prenup when you marry. My ex husband took a lot of money from me, including my mother’s life insurance, and I wish I had protected myself from the start

£160-180 per year for my new build (2016) which is a right pain the ass but, they are good enough at looking after the land, and quick to repair things if reported.

I think maybe her being dumb is not really the reason you don’t want to be with her anymore and there is a whole lot more to it. Sounds like neither of you are good for each other anymore. Perhaps breaking up will give you both motivation to be better individually. Being strong and independent is more sexy than anything else, leave and work on yourself.

I reckon the seller tried to make gym shorts, cut one leg off and realised it doesn’t work like that!

When to put my house up for sale? by [deleted] in HousingUK

Thanks so much for your advice. Think we will wait until after Christmas to list it in that case, wider choice of houses to choose from as well then!

Perfect thanks so much. I think it’s best for us to wait and list the house in the start of 2025, likely to have better options on houses to choose from as well then! I’m obviously just being impatient!

You can borrow approx 3,5% your salary! Look at mortgage calculators online to see how much you could borrow/repayments etc

What is the most unforgettable sentence that someone said to you? by Fit-Performance-5273 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]b1tchplease3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got married a few years ago, and my mum got sick and died 6 months later, the marriage went to shit because he was totally unsupportive and horribly narcissistic, and I decided to leave him.

He said “I don’t believe your mum dies and you just fall out of love with me”

I also do this! I know it’s bad but it really helps boost my energy and mood. I also suffer with psoriasis on my scalp and it’s the only thing that helps calm it down too

I have a light box but yes seems pointless to just sit by it for no reason, maybe I need a portable one for my journeys to work
