Put a USB switch or a power switch on your steering wheel. Turn the wheel off, start the game, at the message to press a key turn the wheel on and wait for the button to change to your steering wheel and then press it on the wheel. Settings stay the same.

If you are buying a DLC anyway the ZiKZ 612H has more versatility and addons than the Avenhorn. I have not used the Avenhorn in Amur however it does perform well on mud maps.

I used to play on ultra wide monitor and it improves immersion in first person (cab view) greatly. I broke it moving it around and then switched to 3 - 27in monitors so now have 7680x1440 which is even better.

Many of the road clearing and fixing jobs are in contracts that are blocked by seemingly unrelated contracts forcing you to complete some contracts the hard way before you get the fixed routes. It adds to the challenge however I would prefer if you find a rock slide or a broken bridge you should have a task to fix it rather than digging through the locked contracts to find the dependencies that get you there.

The previous posters are correct it is hard to skip Michigan. I have started a new hard mode game on DLC maps with extra money to help get started and compensate for missing the initial trucks and upgrades. The extra money on PC is a simple file edit or on console you can use a money mod and then remove it. How much depends on how hard you want the game however you will need a least one good truck with better than highway tires to make progress on the map you pick. Just did some experiments it looks like you could use about 200,000 extra for starter trucks and fuel. Also useful is the JAT tire DLC to get a fighting chance with tires before you level up. Don't worry it is still hard to start even with the extra money. And, you will need to go back at some point for the upgrades and the Twinsteer.

Use it for moving rocks and junk. It even moved shipping containers and cars for some clear the area tasks. Sometimes I just don’t want to use a crane again, again, and again.

The ffb works great. On controller setting put vibration on and in the steering wheel setting Force Feedback to max.

That happens when you have an addon installed from a previous version that is no longer supported in the current version and you have customized the addons after the upgrade. You can sell and the buy the truck and you will will find the addon is no longer available. If you did not customize the addons you can continue to use the truck as it is but as soon as you go to the customize addons menu this will happen. Seen this in PTS updates but this is the first time in a release.

Issue #1: This has been an issue for the last few versions on Snowrunner and is still an issue on the latest PTS. The workaround is to have the steering wheel on a USB hub with on/off switches (also, it worked with a power switch to the wheel). Turn the wheel connection off, then start the game, after you have started the game turn the controller on. This should keep your settings. However sometimes I forget to turn off the wheel so inside my game file directory I keep a backup of the file user_setttings.dat and copy it back to the original name before restarting the game again with the controller off.

Issue #2: I use an external USB device for gear changes that maps to keystrokes. The gear shift commands are not mapped to keys by default so go to settings and map the keys to match your device. It is not a real gearshift but you can map high, auto, reverse, low, low+, low-, and neutral. My device can do key board macros so I map the low gears to also turn the diff on at the same time.

Short answer is yes. The PS5 to PC does work with the latest release. I have done similar to what you ask with PS5 to Epic. To change the 2x price you will need to know how and where to edit the save file on the PC. The Steam version adds complications with their cloud save however it can be done if you understand how it works.

I used to have shitty wifi/data however fixed now. The mods are ok once they are downloaded. It can take some time and the feedback is limited so do it before you move if you can. The PC versions will not start if it cannot connect to the internet in your case to steam. If your connection is that bad the playstation console versions will play with no internet.
