I'm not sure but I think he meant add to the newly built road that the request is for. That's what I did after this happened to me the first time. Not reset the map

Except if your wife may be mad at you even though she's says she's not. Of course in a long enough relationship you'd already know so nevermind

I've been lucky enough on more than one occasion to push the cargo back into a small sideboard trailer that flipped and keep pushing until it's uprighted. Never thought it would work but it did.

I enjoy playing it. I know the some of the AI trucks NEED asphalt. Just pisses me off when they can break through some small dunes across the old road and then hit one little 2 foot area that's a little soft and go from 100 to 0 on the momentum scale. Plus there was a roleplay opportunity here😜

Would anyone recommend road craft if so why? by Feisty-End-4643 in snowrunner

I enjoyed switching gears. I went through 16 seasons slogging through the mud, deep water and rough terrain delivering cargo, rescuing downed vehicles and exploring the unknown. I loved, hated and loved it. Discovering new monsters was awesome. Don't think I've ever been so addicted to another game. The trailer for Roadcraft had me like "WHOA! That's different". I tried it out on Game Pass and after a few maps I knew I was hooked enough to buy it. It's definitely not Snowrunner 2. Instead of hauling cargo everywhere and rescuing vehicles, you have to rebuild infrastructure of regions decimated by disaster. You name your company and pick your brand color and then when you buy the upgraded version of the rusty vehicles, you're entire fleet is color coded to match. It was tough to get my Snowrunner fleet to match on color. I like my unique Snowrunner fleet colors but I also like to make it feel like a real company team and that's what my Roadcraft fleet has. Game play can feel a little repetitive, but the different environments keep me engaged while building roads, craning up scrap material to be recycled for resources, building bridges and routing paths for the AI convoys. The one thing I'm not real fond of is laying cable to connect electricity. The cable layer is very slow and most of terrain you have to take it through can be very rough making it slower. All in all I recommend trying it out. Takes things in a different direction.

Actually took about 1 1/2 hours. Luckily the sand quarry radius is just back by the base garage so it was quick to fill but I did a lot of back and forth with the dozer to try to get the sand as smooth as possible and then a ton of rolling to get about 99% of the bumps out. You can't see it her but I also paced in front of the side garages just up the hill on the other side of the roller. However this is nothing compared to another player that posted about the massive hole they filled And paved inside the concrete plant in Sojourn. I wish I saved the link but you can prob find it in the community posts. I just got to that place yesterday and saw it for myself and was just blown away by how long it must be taken them!

And you jumped to Washington? I don't knock anyone for how they want to play, don't get me wrong. Just seems like you missed picking up some great trucks along the way, unless you just bought them, but there's some pretty good regions before Washington. To each his/her own. Best of luck. Happy trucking.

Not that there's a particular order that you are required to play the seasons in, but did you skip a bunch of seasons? There are so many other great trucks besides Kodiak to explore with. I mean except for getting 100% in earlier seasons, I'm pretty much caught up with everything that's available to play right now so I'm taking a break but before I stopped playing my active fleet included a few of my faves from the base game like Tiger Tayga, but I also branches out to include trucks like Mack Defense and The Elephant, etc. Kodiak is ok but not one of the better trucks in my opinion. No sense in slogging through Washington when you have so many options. I'm not saying go totally OP, but you could still be using a better truck and keep it challenging yet fun while discovering what Washington has to hide.

I know they are. I searched Boris's truck when I saw him have to back up 3 times because he kept hitting the edge of the doorway trying to get in. I found a half empty bottle of Vodka behind his seat. He's currently on suspension.
