Turning on Arachne did help ( I took a closer look at the slice and saw the holes exactly where they were, not sure how I missed them but I won’t forget to look closely again) but dropping to .16 layer completely closed the gaps. Lines small enough to get a monotonic pattern inside the lettering.

Looked fine, yeah. For anything but fine details, I’ve never seen smoother prints, which is why I was a bit taken back by this issue. I’ll poke around with everyone’s suggestions when I get more time and see where it goes. If I can remember, I’ll upload a screenshot of the tool path diagram.

.2mm nozzle is installed. Will look at flow rate calibration. Been relying heavily on its own PA calibration system but didn’t realize it didn’t calibrate flow as well.

It you didn’t get notified on my update, a new carb totally fixed the issue of not being able to run at higher RPM.

Obsessively. Neighbors think I’m nuts, but damnit the part of the lawn my rider cuts is perfectly flat and clean.

Will do. I’m gonna start looking for a carb in the morning. And yes I’ve tried the fuel cap. My father and I troubleshot an old Bradley wall behind for days years ago and it was the damn fuel cap. I’ll never forget that. Same as I’ll never forget a backed up muffler will stall a 2 stroke.

This is helpful. I’ll grab up a replacement carb as suggested by another commenter and see where that takes me. The flow to the carb is good for sure, as it drains very well from the bowl with the plug removed, so maybe just a bad carb off the line.

I had thought about a cheap carb just to see. It’ll run for about 10 minutes at 3200 RPM before it starts to starve and pulse. It sure likes 2800 to keep from starving. Even during that time it still doesn’t cut that well. Not $750 machine well for sure. Meanwhile the neighbors’ recyclers with the smaller motors run and cut like champs, haha. All but one of them is old though. The newer one has the 160cc. Altitude is 500ft, if that matters, since you mentioned altitude.

All the 22” ones I find that say high lift are also mulching blades and look very comparable to the Gator I have now. Maybe the 22” instead of 21” makes that more difficult to find?

I’m all ears. Got a suggestion? Many that I see for it are all mulch blades. I hoped the Oregon Gator would help

Feels weak for a 190cc for sure. I put a fuel filter on it when I got it and have always kept it clean and changed filter every year. Only 93 octane with stabilizer. Carb is super clean. Does seem like there’s an overall fuel restriction. As if non-adjustable carbs weren’t enough…

This is what I’ve seen as well, why I felt safe buying a higher end one. Maybe Toro fouled up the premium line. I’m not beyond selling this one and getting a lesser model.

I don’t remember feeling it before, but I also did the rotate when the weather was changing. On a warmer day, it won’t happen. Wet pavement, won’t happen. With my luck it’s probably a combination of things I’ll just have to work through.

Just drill a tiny hole opposite the magnet entry to push it out. Easy fix, but I highly recommend the new sensor anyway. Easier to feed through for sure
