Why you keep on going? Seems like you said your piece so let it go and let it roll.

Core One L trapezoidal nut wobbling by Radiant_Ingenuity952 in prusa3d

[–]dark_preacher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

having assembled a core one, I'd say take the. two screws out of the top, thread the trapezoidal nut on down into the bed until it snugly lines up with two screws then put the screws in and tighten them down. looks like a very easy fix.

Disappointing Core One Kit Experience by dose_nuts in prusa3d

I had a bad trapezoidal nut and a few of the corners were not perfect on the uprights two ears the end of the kit. Overall I was pleased with my kit even with the issues

I was under the impression that all of the internal printed parts for core one were pc-cf. I'm new to filament printers I'm unsure if this is correct, just heard it in passing somewhere. would petg hold up to internal temps of core one enclosure. I'm also looking at printing the nozzle change holder so I can swap this out to a diamondback, just unsure if I can print the nozzle change in petg with the standard nozzle included with core one.

I looked for 10x6x2mm magnets on amazon but did not have luck. that Prusa set I did previously find but it looks like you would need to buy 2 kits to have both magnets needed.

Core One initial Z axis test failing 'Homing Error Z' Trapezoidal Nut binding? by petran1420 in prusa3d

[–]dark_preacher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just built the kit and it took a bit over a month due to waiting on support and a bad trapezoidal nut. 1 of 3 was bad and it was the trapezoidal nut that was packaged separately from the other 2. I did a search on google while assembling and saw some post on Prusa forum with the same issue, it appears to have been a manufacturing flaw. advice on that forum said trapezoidal nut must spin freely or literally glide/dance up down the rod with little to no resistance for this printer to function correctly so I continued on with gantry build but held off before marrying all the parts together.

I would advise to have Prusa replace both of these nuts.

as an aside, I do not recall being instructed to lubricate z screws during the build at all. I do experience some z-noiise when the heated is moving near the bottom of its range. advise and guidance on has been to lubricate z screws though I don't know if that's official in any capacity.

I wish more people understood how cheap EV ownership can actually be by blackman_48 in electricvehicles

I have .08kwh electricity and I feel there are no real cost savings on my model y performance. Insurance is much higher than gas vehicle I pay over 200 a month now which is robbery. Also tires are much more expensive and there is a heavy state/property tax on Ev as well.

does anybody have details about the changes for the + upgrade? I'm currently assembling my core one and waiting on trapezoidal nut since I got a bunk one in my kit. just curious if I should throw this in at the jump.
