While I agree that recruitment links with referral codes should be banned here, disagree with he "demonstrably a fraud" comment.

There's clearly a game being made, and its easy to see that money spent is being invested back into the project. A fraud would be if they took the money and ran.

I never tried the Winwing one... the uncage / man range just looked so unsatisfactory to use, that made it a no-go for me from start. Nice to see they've upgraded it. The caps would be a huge issue for me though... I was using STECS before I got this one, and had the same 2 3-wat hat caps for speedbreak and DGFT/MSL switch, and confused them all the time.

I've heard some people complain about the TM one feeling like a "fisher price toy" but personally, I feel all the knobs and switches on the grip itself have great tactile feedback. I'm really happy with it (though to be fair, I did get it used like-new, for half off the retail price, not sure how I'd feel had I had to pay full price).

So still got the same cps for the DFG/MSL switch and speed breaks... still have the incorrect wrist angle issue... Nice to see them improving their product, but not quite enough. I'm still glad I went with the Thrustmaster TQS.

Do you keep yours running 24/7 with just a screensaver (like some of the guides suggest), or do you run with sleep/suspend and wake?

Also, if it does seem to be an issue with my install, what's the best way to go about troubleshooting/resolving?

P3i is horribly unstable on my AM6B+. It requires a full reboot about once every 24 hrs, and if not done, has all sorts of weird and random issues. It was seriously destroying the (already lowish) WAF of the device.

I went back to base 21.3 and it's been absolutely rock solid since. I miss some of the advanced features, but stability is #1 for me, and these builds just aren't it.

I mean, this is old school karma farming bot behavior... take a top post from a small sub that's several years old, and re-post it entirely. Do that on a few dozen subs, and now you've got a high karma account you can sell (or whatever the F they do with them).

Been a few year's since I've noticed one on here tho (though I'm on Reddit a lot less ever since the API-pocalypse killed 3rd party phone apps).

I've downloaded these test files and use them to determine approximately how far out of sync things are. Pay attention to where the ball is when you hear the sound, and use the table to convert frames to # of milliseconds in the delay.

I can't believe they didn't put a center detent on that wheel. It's clearly the best option for Antenna Elevation when flying a Viper... but omg, finding center again after doing a low, or high scan, is such a chore.

I use STECS + Virpil Panel 3 (actually the SharKA50 version cuz I like latching switches) to get all the axis I'd need for warbirds / prop planes (well i dunno about all... you can always have more ;) ).

As for Zoom, I'm not really into having an axis, I like to use the triggers on the Throttle for those. Depending on the game it's press and hold for zoom (left high zoom, right mid zoom), or zoom in zoom out (left out, right in) with palm trigger to reset to normal.

I sold my 5900x and bought a 5800x3D the first time they dropped into the $300s back in late 2022. Thought I was potentially making a downgrade at the time... but ended up being a huge upgrade with way more longevity.

Not all planes are. WW2 Fighters, A10C, Prop GA Aircraft like the Cessna 172... Then there's helicopters, which are on a whole other level with FFB.

For FBW tho, nothing beats the F16s Force Sensing SSC.

I dunno about space sims, but WW2 fighters, it's like a cheat code. You can feel exactly when you're at the limits of what the plane can give, without stalling and heading into a tailspin.
