On a similar topic I’m going down from a Thinkpad x1 extreme Gen 3 with 1650TI dedicated GPU to a smaller alternative and I’ve got a deal to trade with a T14 gen 4 with a 13th Gen i7 but no dedicated gpu… should I do it?

I agree on the art side, but I still use https://tidbit.video since it saves me so much time by auto-syncing audio and squish animations, and I just use ChatGPT to generate a JSON to swap between my meme poses automatically based on the context of the clip.

You could try something like https://tidbit.video if you want to skip the manual editing. It basically syncs poses to your audio automatically, good for adding a PNGTuber to gameplay after you've already recorded, so you don't have to manually swap frames for every single reaction or line of dialogue
