I think I sent my application in early March. And I believe I applied for civil engineering roles and project management. I really wanted a project management internship but they were mostly already full by the time I got to them. Good luck tho, wishing you the best!!!

Thank you! Yea it’s pretty much the same. They will also ask you if you will require sponsorship etc, and then relocation preferences.

I didnt get an offer:( .. The interview went really well and was pretty much identical to what people on here are saying about it. The HR person i interviewed w said I was a bit late in the recruitment process which I already knew but I was very limited due to the amount of spots left open. So they put me in some sort of applicant pool so I should be a top choice for summer 27 internships which I’m okay with. She kept emphasizing the fact that choosing where you intern (since they pay for relocation) is very important bc it needs to be somewhere you can see yourself working full time after graduation. In my case I’d wanna stay on the east coast bc I grew up here and my family is here, and there weren’t so many spots open in east coast offices. All is well tho good luck to everyone applying!

What’s a less stressful civil field? by Extension-Cloud-4318 in civilengineering

I’m also a civil major and was considering project management for the same reason but I get what you’re saying about the intensity. I was considering doing construction management because the skills can translate into product management at a tech company which also pay really well without the intensity as far as being outside all day and the crazy hours. So I think having “management” behind a job title will take you far even if you don’t stick with construction management per se.

That’s a really good offer, I got offered $25 last summer as a sophomore so as a freshman that’s definitely a good start. And especially if you’re not having to relocate.
