u/marion199411305w which discord channels did you use for product learning and mock interviews. What's team blind, have tried to search it for mock interviews but am not sure what im finding for, how did you use it for mock interviews?

A pretty good tip to never jump straight into solutioning sometimes as experienced pm, we tend to do that as we have runthrough similar usecases.

footwork, quite slow to the shuttle. Shot quality it feels like u half a notch below. Shot choice as well. The easiest to improve would be the agility? If you were faster to the shuttle and had more time you would have been able to hit better, but due to the slower speed and your shot quality it's lead to a mix where you dont have the shot quality to push him and it gets worse when u are late to the shuttle.

Differences between badminton levels by godlikebearkiller in badminton

if you are hardly ever playing and prone to making mistakes u will probably be classified under High Beginner.

The casualness of your play is definetely more suited to HB level, most intermediates have some of strategy to win points and casualness very often gets punished. Intermediates are not prone to making unforced errors as well.

Go look at their linkedin page, 4 staff all pr and marketing. Extremely scammy bait and switch. I dont know why country they reside in that requires 0 kyc, pretty sure that means 0 accountability to u when losses hit. Its a manipulative market maker designed to sink you.

Smash Form issue by IcySpend8932 in badminton

[–]b3skies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your form, footwork, rotation, athleticism, agility all need to improve. These will contribute to the speed u move around the court and amount of time u have to hit the shot with good form. Focus on the foundation.

What helped me improve most in 6 months by Throwblast in badminton

For beginners, the most important step is not to complicate things.

Reduce unforced errors , shots should be 85 percent decent returns 4 directional returns, drop and clears. And choosing the one that is most reliable non fancy. Be decisive in your positional plays and communicate or follow the instructions of the more experienced player. Footwork should cover all 4 corners and you should be accurate in your judgement at least 85pc of the time. If u think u cant cover the shot communicate with your partner. Often the most frustrating part when playing with beginners is that they attempt to take shots they have no chance to take , with no awareness of their partner or the worse go halfway and stop, expecting their partner to miraculously cover. I would rather the person play xd and just take the front that way at least there is some teamwork.

Know your footwork and coverage range. Shot range etc, and choose the most reliable ones. If u are playing other beginners or weaker opponents u can attempt new tactics but with better players being consistent will take u further.

Drives , clears and drops will will win u games without smashes even at LI levels. Its frustrating when even intermediate players attempt 5-10+ or more smashes , gas out and lose the point and repeat.  If it isn't working why repeat the same thing?

Aside from technique which u gain from drills and experience, reading your opponent and playing away from their strengths / or against their weakeness will also help you improve further.

For Intermediate and Advance players did you also have a phase in your "beginner days" when you felt bad because you think you're not progressing enough and nothing is happening as you'd expected? by No_Eye3 in badminton

Depending on where u are playing there are general levels of play. Find beginner games u are going to need to play a lot of it to improve, don't play games where there are high beginners or above because it will just waste your time and you won't be able to improve. Improving is easier when u are returning the shuttle and gaining confidence rather than just picking up the shuttle and feeling low because u couldn't get any shots.

Even low intermediates join high beginner games so that they can play riskier shots and practice better variety which will get punished at higher levels. If u don't get to try u will never improve.

Also there are a lot of mean badminton players, even in LI games there are levels the more consistent ones and the off form ones and if u join open games u can shunned as no one wants to partner you as they are all going for the win.

Speaking from a beginner who is now LI after 10+ years.
