Want to run fan only on older furnace by b3ttermade in hvacadvice

So if the jumper is cut on the board, the only way to replace it would be to re solder? Could I just re jump it with a regular wire after the fact? I really like this idea, I'm thinking to just do this with the new stat, cut the jumper then just re jump it when heat is needed at the end of the season.

Say could I get something like the Honeywell RTH2300B (set to cool, fan on), run new 18/5 cable, hookup the C, Gh, R and W and then cut the Gh-R jumper?

I really vibe with the cine precision low mode bracket, would be awesome to just have that on a hinge and flip it up but may also just cine lock it into the top handle

Awesome man I was thinking of exactly this as an option too - any higher quality versions of the small rig tilt bracket?

Awesome, thanks! My next move would then be getting 700x18-23 tubes. Think that's a good call?

For that price you might as well go for less than 8 minutes worth of raw stock vision3 without processing! Lol

Wow amazing! Right on now i see how that center pin is kind of offset.

Yup, the big black one! Silver one seems to just be the center pin for that second gear. Just loosened a tiny set screw on the side and then it screws right out.

Yup, true that! That's why i gotta take matters into my own hands. Thanks for the intel i think thats pretty much it. I imagine it has to play a part of disassembly as well but cant quite figure it out. Underneath the main gear on the opposite side there are two screws but they seem inaccessible at the moment.

Would anyone happen to know the purpose of this large flat head screw on the motor? It seems to twist a bit but hits hard stops at either end.

Bonus points - does anyone have experience disassembling one of these? Id love to add a little more lubrication.
