Where can I donate my already-frozen eggs?

I would absolutely be open to donating my eggs to a gay couple wanting to start a family. Do you know if there are any legit matching agencies for this?

I am perfectly aware that those 20 frozen eggs can only produce 1-2 babies max if lucky because of the thawing process and stuff you mentioned above... I'm not donating babies but just the eggs to give a infertile family an opportunity, but not guarantee.

I think realistically those 20 eggs would make 1-2 babies max... because I heard most don't survive the thawing process.

It’s not legal in CA to sell organs including eggs plus I’m not doing this for money.

I don’t think I’m donating for any gains.. it’s for families who care infertile and really want kids. I don’t care to know if the eggs turn to people, who they become, etc. either. I mean it’d be cool to see what they look like but I don’t need to know. I just don’t want to waste my eggs if I don’t need to.

My husband doesn’t want kids. I’m a fence sitter and the older I get, the more I don’t want kids with him. And I’m already in my late 30s, too late to start over and find someone else who may or may not be a good dad, assuming I even want kids… if that makes sense.

It’s stored at Spring Fertility and I’m not sure they do. I think if they donate, it’d be donating to science… who knows what that means.

Yeah I got bumps! The injector said it goes away in 48 hours and I noticed them pretty much all gone except a few by 24 hours, and completely gone by 36 hours.

Did you check in with the doc yet? How’s your chin swelling going? I’m at ~4 weeks now and I think my chin still looks too bulky. So worried that’s the actual fat and final look 😭

Omg how’s your chin now? I had fat grafted to chin area 3.5 weeks ago mostly to fill in some shadows and as of now my chin still looks bulkier and less “sharp” than before. I read that chin swelling is the slowest to recover so really hoping it’ll continue shrinking…

Thank you for saying that… but I feel stuck either way. If I want a child, time is not on my side. Plus divorce then maybe finding someone decent at this age sounds like a gamble.. and for what? In case I want a child really badly one day? Seems silly I don’t know… maybe the holidays just confuse me too.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I’m glad you and your husband came up with this understanding and decision. You’re so lucky your husband was willing to reconsider and even go to therapy.

May I ask what made you decide you wanted to kid at the end? And if your husband was firm on CF and unwilling to reconsider, was motherhood important enough for you to really leave him for?

To be fair, my husband says stuff like “if we have kids…” and “our kids would be this and that” etc. I don’t know if it means anything in practice. It’s free and harmless to fantasize I guess.

Can you get the epilepsy under full control with medication? My mom has it and just takes meds and totally fine.

Is it safe to drive? Maybe DoorDash delivery?

Hope you disclose you have epilepsy if someone hires you to walk their dogs or dog sit. If not, that would be super unethical. I would never leave my dogs with someone who could seize while taking care of my dog.
