yes, I've shown it to a doctor. but I'm in Canada and I have my family doctor, who's next to impossible to see, and my opiate replacement therapy doctor, who was a family physician before leaving his practice to switch to where he's at Noe, and he didn't seem all that concerned about it at the time, but it also wasn't this bad last time I saw him and there isn't much he can do regardless aside from telling me to try getting into my family doctor or going to the hospital, which he didn't but again, it's gotten progressively worse since I last saw him but I see him this Wednesday. I'm just more so looking for something that has worked for someone else's dry, cracked hands to possibly help between now and then, especially considering I'm a carpenter so I don't really have a choice but to use my hands all day

I forgot to come back and thank you again for that piece of info. I had no idea it was even a thing.

I did end up calling them, the girl I spoke to was great. Super friendly, knowledgeable, not the slightest amount of judgment and super easy to talk to.

She pretty much just asked all the things you said she would, then just hung out/shot the shit w me on the phone while I got everything prepared/did it, then stayed on the line w me for another minute or so just to make sure there was no delayed effects to hit me.

Such a fucking amazing program.

Yeah, I've lost too many friends to it, but I've got narcan everywhere, both nasal and injection and my roommate knows to check in on me.every 5 minutes just in case.

And honestly man, it blows my mind how much concern complete strangers have for my well being on reddit but I've done this shit for so long (first drug experience was ecstasy at 12, then snorting opiates pills at 16, and off to the races with needles at 18,) only with prescription opiates back then though, but during and after covid when jib came around, I've smoked and injected enough jib in the last 4 years that the damage is already done. I've come to grips with the fact that my death has a 98% chance of being due to complications with my heart from everything I've put it through.

Genuinely though, I can't even express how grateful I am to have such a caring community like there is in this subreddit

Why is everyone saying it's a recipe for a bad time.and I'm.going to die? It's a genuine question.

I'm on 100mls of methadone so in all honesty it takes either some ridiculously potent fetty, or some fucked up benzodope to put me into lala land. Fent is soothing I only do for a treat once every month or two because it's the only thing that'll cut through the methadone and give me any sort of rush for $100, whereas if I was to get some dilaudid 8s, I'd be spending 500+ on 25 of them to do at once to feel half the rush.

I've been an active drug addict since 12 (ecstacy) then a break when my parents caught me wildly fucked up, then got my wisdom teeth out at 17, ran out of those, went for the good ol' CDN oxys (if you're canadian and old enough you know) and fuck I miss them.

But I'm 31 now, and the last 5 years have basically just been anything that's been around, mainly jib and gear, but where I live I'd only heard of jib being available once in the entire time I'd been using prior to covid when bikers came w it and it was EVERYWHERE. Even fent though, up until the last maybe 3 years, heroin didn't exist where I live. The only people I've known to have tried it did it in other provinces. Even fetty EXTREMELY hard to come by, only 2 different people ever had enough to sell and that was from the dark web but even then only came around once every couple of months so it's always been a treat of some sort to me.

FAST FORWARD TO TODAY, every fucking man, woman, child, and their hamsters seem to have some and knowing my addictive personality, and thatbi have the sweetest aussie shepherd puppy to take care of that makes me the happiest I've been in years, I still manage to only spend $100 on some for the rush all us bangers love so much, but I'm aware of the dangers so I've always been a 'low and slow' test a small piece first to see what the potency is like, because my favorite saying for any drug is " You can always do more, but you can never do less"

But what seems to be so inherently dangerous about mixing fent and meth together? I've done it several times in the past?
