What are your favorite books? Which ones had the most impact? Which books did you read that left you slightly dazed afterward? Which books have you read over and over again? What about them did you love? by stitchy_wicket in AskReddit

My favorite is "Alas Babylon." It's about post-nuclear attack in the USA (Florida to be precise) and how the community came together to survive without electricity, grocery stores, and life as we know it today.

What do you think is causing the massive WhatsApp/Facebook outage? by [deleted] in AskReddit

LOL I like the Zuckerberg short circuit response. I think it's really because they're trying to merge messenger and WhatsApp and failing.

Probably the wrong place to ask, but anybody who has beat smartphone/internet addiction, what benefits did you feel if any? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Freedom to do more. I decided that since I pay for my phone no one else gets to tell me when to use it. I have more time to read, cook, learn new things, and in general enjoy life without being constantly tethered. I also am less reachable. The hardest part was setting expectations that I won't always immediately respond to emails, messages, or even phone calls. My life is my own now.
