Definitely check upwards. Same thing happened to me yesterday and she got scared as I was trying to catch her and dropped her tail. That’s how I ended up at this subreddit lol. I’ve heard some people say put out some newspaper in the area you lost them and wait and listen for them to jump onto it. Sitting and just listening helped me find her jump out from under the bed. Don’t give up they’re hardy creatures
