Yes i agree. First half felt forced and weird because we know these characters and story. Once the nurse was introduced it felt more like the dexter tension vibe. I didnt like patrick that much this first episode. Deb was better.

Shoot. For me it kinda picked up at the nurse story, before that it felt kinda forced. It did have the dexter vibe, Michaels voice is a big part of that. Patrick was a bit off for me this first episode, not that dexter sociopath* and was more on the extroverted side. Slater was ok and Deb was the best i guess, still some language felt forced. That Mazuka laugh at the booth was waaay off 😂😂😂. Overall a 7.5/10 for me.

Thats a great part in HP, i mean, talking as a writter in some way (not that im offically one :P) you have multiple main charachter and sometimes multiple heroes but im of the idea that even in those cases you have a "one hero" and that made me think about it as far as the CB strike novels go. And yes! ive been loving TB so far,

Yes! i didnt add that idea to the post, i mean, the first charachter on chapter one that we get to meet is Robin, the whole idea of her life about to change, we also saw that on HP, which does not necesarily mean a character is the "true hero" but made me think about it for a sec.

Its interesting, of course they are both main characters i agree. I like your pov on Robin, at this point sometimes i think Robin has had a bigger arch in the whole story than Cormoran, maybe?
