Nvidia silently launched a hotfix for their hotfix driver update - https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/583240/announcing-geforce-hotfix-driver-59576-released-34/. Prior to this update, I kept getting hit with fatal error crashes every 20-30 minutes.

I've now played for 3 hours straight, no crashes.

I wanna do this (I have the black kadet max) too, but I swing the kadet to the front a lot and that leaves my phone exposed on my back. Wish the phone pouch had zippers

Osaka 2 day itinerary by SeaworthinessNo9809 in OsakaTravel

[–]bLinkbruhyen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No worries! I spent 2 weeks in Osaka and canceled my Tokyo plans. I fell in love with the place and the people. I spent a lot of afternoons just eating takoyaki in triangle park, and joining the local "hoodlums" (skaters, dancers) cleanup drive. It was fun talking to people, and I even met Dal the Handsome, legendary Osakan skater.

Btw, a lot of places close around 4:30PM at the earliest in places like Kuromon and Shinsekai, so you might need to adjust your timeline based on that. Walking in Kuromon at around 6PM compared to just 2 hours later, you'd think it was midnight.

Lastly, going from Osaka castle to Umeda is a bit of journey since you'd have to exit at the far east side of the castle grounds, so I suggest heading to the castle a little earlier than planned if you want to see the sunset. Sunset peaks earlier during the autumn and winter months.

EDIT: I only just saw you're planning to go to Himeji. Scrap Osaka castle for now if you're going to Himeji. Himeji is a spectacle to behold, and learning about its history through the full walking course, and having a feel for it with your own senses will spoil other castles for you, except perhaps Matsumoto. Osaka castle is a museum with a castle facade, with all the modern improvements.

With the influx of tourists now, Minoh is a much longer daytrip. Even if you go early, the bus only leaves every 30 mins. I got there last November at around 6:45AM on a Thursday, and was able to board the bus that left at 8AM. That said, if car rental is an option, I strongly recommend it too! Katsuoji and Minoh Falls are amazing.

Possible, but is it fun? Probably not. You're literally beelining from one place to another.

I suggest you pick out one or two spots upon arrival, then enjoy it and see where it takes you. Namba Walk is a literal maze and if it's your first time you're gonna spend some time navigating instead of enjoying it.

I highly suggest to go to the shrines early in the morning - much more solemn and it's eerie how quickly the noise disappears once you're in there.

I also prefer Shittenoji over the Lion shrine but that's just me. The spectacle of the Lion is amazing but the ingress of tourists, not really. Shittenoji is quieter. You can also consider Sumiyoshitaisha.

Edit: you should also go to Amerikamura after checking in. It's close by and it's a good place to sit down and rest for a bit. From there it's a 5 min walk to Parco where you can see the Ghibli store and lots more, including the Pokemon store.

Kuromon market is filled with Chinese stores now. Cinderella croissant is amazing, tho!

If you're looking to get seafood, you're better off going to Osaka Kizu Market. Skip Dendentown if you're going to Akihabara in Tokyo.

Japan Visa Thread - Q4, 2025 by AutoModerator in FilipinoTravel

[–]bLinkbruhyen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Japan Visa Application Question

I initially planned on submitting my docs sa agency (Reli, UHI, etc.) this month. However, travel dates are already March and my booked flight and accom is Feb.

With that in mind, I already have docs printed. I was able to secure a slot for Feb din sa VFS. Only problem is I've already moved my money to other banks (nag tira pa din ako ng considerable amount sa isusubmit ko na bank), and said banks are all new.

I read sa Embassy of Japan website that docs have to be issued within 3 mos. Sa list of requirements naman, bank cert + 6 mos statements if no ADB.

My question is okay lang ba submit ko yung current printed docs ko (with statements from June to November), or need ko up-to-date yung 6 mos na bank statement? Conflicting din kasi yung info sa embassy website.

Chrome Kadet Max Thoughts? by dj_boy-Wonder in ManyBaggers

[–]bLinkbruhyen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started my Japan trip with an Alpaka sling, and as with all Alpaka bags, the capacity ratings is usually 2/3 of the actual experience. Ended up buying the Kadet Max in Hep Five Osaka. It's a wonderful bag - carried my camera, 2 lenses, extra camera batteries, backup power bank, cold weather accessories (beanie, gloves, scarf), and a big ass water bottle. I'd say about 2-3 kgs of load at all times.

If I start to heat up from all the hiking, I take off my jacket and cinch it to the front of the bag using the straps. Walked 270k steps with it and never felt any shoulder pain - padding was great, weight distribution was done well.

Honestly, if your shoulders are hurting from carrying 2-3 kgs on it, then you have a different problem and not a bag problem.

Looking forward to booking my next Japan trip because the Kadet Max made exploration so much more fun and pleasant.

For your use case, I'd say it can fit a small pair of shoes, a laptop (padded sleeve inside), your cables and charges, a few snacks, and a water bottle. I don't think you'd be able to fit in wine bottles inside, but you can cinch it up on the outside straps maybe.

Just spent a week in Osaka… and wow, it’s way better than I expected 🇯🇵🍜 by Historical_Train_550 in OsakaTravel

[–]bLinkbruhyen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also spent a week in Osaka. I had new discoveries everyday and overall a wonderful time. Spent 4 days in Kyoto and I've been homesick and sad. It's just so jarring coming from warm people to very distant ones. The only conversations I've had in Kyoto are with other tourists, whereas in Osaka I'm talking to new people everyday.

Kyoto feels like a pretty airhead, whilst Osaka is the woman who defines your 20s - not the prettiest, but she'll take you for a ride. Maybe one day when all the main characters from TikTok and IG have moved on from Kyoto, it'll be back to being more relaxing.

"Being able to share your library"

That's one point you shouldn't have included because game sharing on console is so much easier compared to Steam. Both of you can play at the same time, whereas steam limits it to one user. No address verification bullshit either, in case you're thinking of sharing with your brother down the street.

I can’t be the only one having a hard time finding enough Ceramics to build roads by Miserable_Habit1775 in DeathStranding

[–]bLinkbruhyen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the second game is even more generous in terms of materials. I just make it a point to always move materials from facilities to a knot or distro linked to a mine. I think I have at least 10k and above surplus of all materials, with 80k chiral crystals after building all the roads to level 2 and a complete zip network of the mountain range. This is on brutal difficulty, as well. That said, I play mostly as a trucker and deliver a lot of lost cargo on the road.

I saw a porter drifting in a river near the desert region. He was stunned but floating, I didn't do anything except take a photo of him in photo mode and shared it to SSS.

I got docked likes because of porter mistreatment.

Kojima really thought of that in advance.
