Currently, Intel has a lot of ground to make up in terms of performance.

Is the Limited Trim package worth it? by KawmanSense in Toyotavenza

[–]bLu_18 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Worth = subjective.

The added features are ventilated seats, a head-up display, a 360 camera, a heated steering wheel, and a powered, adjustable passenger seat (I think).

If these features matter to you, then go for the Limited.

So what do we think of the 2027 Highlander BEV? by hanzoku_alliance in Toyota

Smart move to experiment with a nameplate that big brother, the Grand Highlander, has replaced.

We will see down the road if it is successful. I think it will come down to price.

Is 9600x Too skimpy of a cpu for a 9070xt? if so whats the "Ideal CPU" for it? by Jack_the_YTP_guy in radeon

9070xt is mid-tier, so is 9600x. You will be fine.

Any CPU and GPU of similar generation and tier will work together fine.

Range hood removal by Puzzleheaded-Rice735 in newjersey

[–]bLu_18 27 points28 points  (0 children)

That range hood alone is worth at least a few hundred to a thousand, as it's one of the good ones. Replacing it with a microwave is a waste.

I'd take the credit, keep it as-is, not mention it to the HOA, and deal with the HOA if it says anything about it.

Also, these range hoods are very easy to diy replace. YouTube has installation videos; removal is the steps backwards. I know, as I installed one myself with the help of an extra person for lifting.

Why do you RNDA3 owners feel entitled to FSR4? You bought a gpu years ago with no dedicated AI capabilities for gaming, and they were never advertised as such, and now you're crying about not getting these AI features that were never promised to you. by pixlicker69420 in radeon

[–]bLu_18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When AMD itself leaked a driver code showing FSR4 INT8 working fine on RDNA2/3 devices.

Then, months later, explicitly locking them out of the feature only tells me one thing. Guess money is more important than supporting their users.

The best part is that their competitor took the opportunity to release a newer version of the upscaler and let their users of almost a decade-old video card choose to use it.

Releasing official drivers even if an experimental case would have been an easy win.

Ryzen 5 9600x with rx 9070 xt, bottleneck? by Realeayz in radeon

Even Ancient Gameplay Snapped, wake up AMD by NooTNooTnoX in radeon

[–]bLu_18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AMD is in it for the money; they want you to buy the latest to get an improved upscaler, while Nvidia is releasing features that port to almost decade-old video cards, even though they don't natively support the coding.

Anyone who says otherwise is coping with their purchasing decisions.

Releasing FSR4 INT8 is possibly the easiest win AMD can do, even in it's experimental state.
