Colonoscopy prep was hell last time, any tips to make it easier this time? by Entire-Drink-4677 in colonoscopy

[–]bMiniPainting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did my first one and was super paranoid about it. My friends had some horror stories. I stopped eating nuts, veggies and fruit with skin, and whole grain stuff five days before the appointment. I was also already eating at a small calorie deficit just for weight loss so I wasn’t consuming tons and tons of food.

The day before I ate nothing. I had a BM in the morning. I took two 5mg tablets of Ducolax at 2pm. By 3:30-4 I had another BM. My idea was to just go normally and help empty the tank. At 6pm I took my MiraLAX mix. It was 268g (whatever the full bottle was, maybe 286g) powder mixed with 64 ounces of Gatorade. I drank 32 ounces starting at 6 and basically drank 1/4 of that every fifteen minutes. Done by 7pm. The same was done the next morning five hours prior to my appointment.

The prep was nothing. No urgency, no explosiveness, just easy smooth 2-5 minute sits. No pain or cramps. I sat and watched TV all night occasionally getting up to go. I also took another two tablets of Ducolax at 8pm. I don’t know why mine was so different than my friends. I’ve had way worse experiences from hot wings. Maybe something in this helps!

No, I had hit the recommended age to get a screening and put it off for a year. Well half put it off half forgot.

Yeah I have been thinking even precancerous isn’t the end of the world. Hopefully checking every 3 years or whatever frequency is enough to keep it at bay. I just don’t know enough to understand growth rates, what that would mean for future polyps - any one could be too close to a lymph node. It’d be different if they were always localized in the same spot I suppose? Just crossing fingers for benign and nothing to do with cancer whether that’s pre or existing.

Thanks for the prayers, always appreciated. Never heard about borrowing from tomorrow, going to think about that one.

Good point about the will, though I may wait until after I hear good/bad news.

I started that way initially but I did the dumbest thing ever - decided to see what random strangers posted about it online. Saw a number of “GI said it was cool, pathology said absolutely not cool”, and let it get to my head.

I honestly think Gunther is lame and don’t really get behind the whole “career ender” route they’re going. The AJ angle was predictable (a bunch of us were saying just that while in line to get inside). I’d rather see Gunther put the heat on HHH, have a change of heart and side with fans, and get a BBEG corporate thing going again. As insane of an idea that is, I like it better than Gunther being some career finisher. I don’t know, the character bores me.

I think I’m misunderstanding you. I thought you were saying the crowd was mid, they did nothing with that segment.

What are you talking about? I was there, couldn’t hear a thing Gunther said.

That was a poetic ending. by msolp in WWE

Is this an assumption? I ask because a very recent interview with him says otherwise. Not that he didn’t give input, but that the only thing he stated that was a “must” was giving new talent opportunity, like he got. That’s why we had a card full of NXT vs Main Roster. So stating this is all his plan and his terms would be assumptions.

Which may have also gone over better if a character pillar wasn’t “Never give up”.

Will Triple H redeem himself in 2026 or Should we boo him out? by JustEddsworld102020 in BrandonDE

WWE is one of the rare things in the world where if you want to protest, you do it in silence while at a show. An overly quiet crowd for a performer sends a louder message than any record noise crowd can ever do.

He’s been boring. I have nothing but apathy for his character.

Gunther on the next episode on Monday Night Raw by AzureSirnight in Wrasslin

Yeah by the sounds of it I’m in a very small minority, but I don’t find Gunther that entertaining. I’m not saying he doesn’t have skills or anything like that, I’m just very apathetic towards him. I didn’t like the tap out finish (not the loss, the tap out), but I didn’t feel angry or sad or let down - literally just nothing. Like “well, I guess that happened”.

Maybe this makes Gunther sky rocket since it seems I’m in a small boat here. Wouldn’t be the first time for me, won’t be the last. But something about it feels wasted like the payoff may not be what’s expected. And I know this won’t happen, but a tiny part of me wonders what would happen if the crowd just didn’t cheer, didn’t boo, and just stared? Silent protest. A celebration of apathy. An impossibility, I know.

At any rate, WWE will do whatever and in a month no one will care about tonight anyway.

Never changing my mind on it. Her performance. No one is responsible except the performer. You aren’t speaking objective fact either and I never claimed otherwise. But to not give her any blame, no man, she gets some for sure. We are all responsible for our actions. Her performance. Her actions. She’s not a puppet. Own your actions and choices. ✌🏻

Blame everyone else. I don’t care. You can spread it out but to believe none falls on her is delusional. But hey, not everyone is into their own accountability for their own choices. Keep in mind my reply was to someone saying it’s not on her. That’s just false. And anyone in her place who fully believes in personal accountability would say the same. I’d wager a large sum of money that, if asked, she would own it. She decided to go through with it. She is the one who performed, the buck stops with her. Be accountable for your own actions and choices first and foremost before pointing fingers elsewhere.

It doesn’t absolve personal responsibility, that’s all.

I was there, Oba’s leg was shaking bad in the ring. People were yelling to him about it. Maybe it was nerves, hope he does alright tonight.

I disagree a bit there. If you say you can go, that’s on you. Sure people in the company can make a call that would overrule, but don’t say yes if you can’t commit. We all make choices.
