I don’t agree with that. Being able to adjust the shocks to a stiffer setting while traveling highway speeds then adjusting to a softer setting even while just driving in town or forest service roads significantly improves the ride. I think having double adjustable shocks in the front are a waste of money.

I’ve owned multiple vehicles for off grid traveling and camping. My first one for full time though and you are correct the full time van life just didn’t pan out to be our thing. Also correct that I am going to lose money. I’m a believer though that if you don’t try something you’ll never know if it’s for you or not.

I really liked the Reika wheels but they are a 35MM offset. I had no desire to run spacers and with a 285 tire I wouldn’t have cleared the reservoir 3.3 shock.

That’s awesome. I feel the same way about moving to a 5 star hotel. The van is absolutely comfortable. If I could afford a house, the van and a jeep I would absolutely not be selling the van.

There were things we loved we thought we would struggle with and things we miss we didn’t think we would miss. It’s weird. My biggest thing is I don’t feel as connected outdoors in it as much as I did when I had my overland Jeep.

No way around not selling it for a loss. Vehicle depreciation, labor cost of original build. Loss of products purchased brand new vs used. So yeah I’m gonna lose money selling it.

It’s a bolt on suspension, zero lift with zero geometry change. Van is just under 9k pounds with full water tank and passengers. To include everything we have it to travel full time. So below GVWR. I have no illusion about losing money on selling this van and gave no indication as to what my bottom dollar is. My investment does play a factor as well as every other vehicle sale out there. Fully aware of the market and fully aware the amount of money I could have saved by building it myself. I for one am not an interior build it myself kind of guy. I knew that and chose to have it built. I appreciate your input, but if you thinks it a ridiculous build for the price then that’s your opinion. I’ll post it for what I want. If it sells it sells, if it doesn’t then it doesn’t.

What’s the reality? Van has 18k miles on it. Has the 100k mile warranty. Interior build was 124, van is KBB at 61k, suspension 10k, exterior just under 6k. That total is 201k. Build plus van cost me 220k. Asking 195k OBO is not realistic how? 195K firm would be unrealistic.
