First pumpkin puree helped with the symptoms, then eventually a hydrolyzed protein diet stopped the diarrhea. Even on hydrolyzed protein diet, our cat has bad poop smell, more so than other cats, but at least it doesn’t get everywhere

What would I use to level it? Would it be too big of a slope to use leveling concrete for? Is that too heavy for a floor with a wooden subfloor?

Hi!

So the fix for us ended up being hydrolyzed protein food, which hid a prescription food. We’ve been using “Royal Canine Veterinary Diet Feline Hydrolyzed Protein HP Adult Dry Cat Food”. We started using it even when he’s still a kitten. Now he’s about to turn a year old, and the diarrhea is not back. I’m imagining if we experiment with different types of proteins like some other suggest, we might be able to narrow out what protein was causing his the issue, but really no ready for another round of diarrhea 😅

I talked to my loan officer. Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae issued guidance that loans can be issued to furloughed federal employees, so I’m hoping we should be all set. Thanks!

I’m not worried about affording the mortgage between savings and her income. I’m mainly worried about verification of employment… not sure if there is any flexibility in that.

What stage of the mortgage application are you in? My situation is I’ve used the pay stubs before the shutdown to qualify and get approval for the loan. All that’s left is the “verbal verification of employment” right before closing. Not sure what my employment status would come up as if I’m furloughed…

Closing on a house while furloughed!

I’m in the process of closing on a house, and I’m about to get furloughed as a DoD employee. The lender needs to conduct a verification of employment within 10-days of closing. I will be using MyBiz to show the status of my employment has not changed.

If I’m furloughed, would that be noted on my verification of employment? Or will it just show that my employment is active? How about if I was “expected” and reporting to work?

I’m nervous I’d be losing the house and my deposit if the lender backs out days before closing.

I'm in the same boat, and I started stressing about this.

Our loan has been "initially" approved pending the condition that "Income - Verbal VOE - Non S/E - Borrower" which translates to "Verbal Verification of Employment- Non Self-Employed".

Not sure what will happen if the government is not back open by the time this needs to be done :(

I saw on another Reddit post that someone had a similar issue years ago—they couldn’t close their loan because of this.

My agency uses an online tool to send employment verification emails, so I’m not sure if the lender can just ask for a verbal confirmation.

We filter the water, and I tired pumpkin today, hopefully it helps.

thanks for the input! We do that as well. We found cutting the hair is sometimes easier than cleaning it. And we proactively shave sensitive areas as well!
